The Linksys WRT110 is perhaps the best computer investment I ever made. Prior to purchasing this router, I had another brand.  It was almost impossible for me to download anything.  Downloads would stop in the middle and wouldn't resume.  Sometimes it would take days to download a large item such as a Book on tape or a new Map for my GPS. I blamed all the download troubles on everything but the router.  Calls to tech support of undownloadable items weren't solved.  As a last resort I decided to purchase the Linksys WRT110.  Boy what a difference.  Downloads that used to take hours, now take minutes.  Uploads are equally as fast.  Setup on this product was incredibly easy.  Following the included setup instructions, My three computers and printer were up and running in no time at all.  My son-in-law who was also having problems asked me how I solved my problems.  I recommended that he purchase the same Linskys WRT110.  He did and boy was he happy. Thanks Cisco for making a great product.

Originally i loved it but then i started having internet issues. Lets first start with the install. A lot of people were talking about how easy it was but it was slightly difficult for me. I had to call comcast because it wasn't working with the modem very well. Eventually we got it to work and it started running. Then internet would drop on and off maybe once a week. It's not horrible but when it happens, it's very annoying. I have to disconnect the whole thing and reconnect it, hoping that it'd work. Sometimes I'd have to do this 2-3 times and then the internet would suddenly start back up again. I'm assuming it has to do with the router since this hasn't happened before. As for asthetics, the build is quite nice and it looks very slick. A lot of other routers look clunky and take up space but this one is flat and attractive. Part of my purchase decision was about the looks and not just the price. However, this is a decent deal for how much you pay.

Since I work at home and still take care of my two year old daughter during the day my husband and I thought getting this router would make things so much easier since I would be able to work in any room of the house.  After talking to the sales rep at the store we decided to go with this model because the rep, as well as the box, said it was easy to set up and easy to manage.  Wrong on both parts.  We are both good with computers and it took us all day to get this set up.  It was aweful.  First off it didn't come with the install cd so we had to make a second trip to the store to get it replaced.  Then when we got the cd we had to set everything up 5 or 6 different times and get 5 or 6 different passwords because it was not saving the information.  Once we got it set up I really enjoyed it for a few days then we started having problems with it not staying connected to the internet.  I would be in the middle of work and it would lose the connection ( I am one room over so I know I was within range).  We constantly have to reset the modem to get it to work again.  Very frustrating.  I know have to use my laptop in the computer room so I can have it plugged directly into the internet cable.  Not worth the money or the time.

The Linksys WRT110 has been very difficult to use. My husband and I both have a decent working knowledge of computers and we were assured by the customer service representative that we would be able to easily set it up. It actually boasts to be "one touch set-up". We spent an entire day setting the Linksys WRT110 up and were still only able to get one of the two computers online. We have not been able to fix the settings. We recently had a friend come over who used to work as a computer technician. He worked with the Linksys WRT110 for about an hour and decided to call customer service. Well, because we purchased the router several months ago, there is no tech support. After some pleading they customer service rep did install the router properly by logging onto our computer and installing it herself. It was not our issue but a software issue. We are finally up and running but it has been too long in the making. I do not recommend the Linksys WRT110.

We love the Linksys RangePlus WRT110 Wireless Router! Now I certainly do not consider myself a Computer Geek or Techie, but I don't think that I am computer illeterate either :) This is the third router that we purchased; we took the previous two back because they were to difficutlt to install. There were tons of settings, firewalls and so on. This router walked us throught the set up with no problems whatsoever. The signals is *very *good... not quite "great". However, I will still recommend this product.

I recently purchased a laptop and wanted to set up a home wireless network. I did some research and decided to purchase this Linksys WRT110 wireless router. I followed the easy to follow instructions and was up and running in no time at all. I did have a little trouble securing the router network but this was due to my lack of computer savvy than any problems with the router. I called the Linksys customer support and the helpful lady walked me through the process step by step. It really was simple. We have satellite internet service where we live and I thought using a router might slow things down a bit but this was not the case. Our main computer is a Mac and our laptop is a pc. I have used the laptop through the wireless router and there have been no problems. This is a great router for the price and seems to have a great range. I have used my laptop and it works fine all over the house!
