Once this router was hooked up the trouble began. I could never get online, my roommate could. It made no sense. After a month and a half of us trying literally everything (contacting every support out there in www), we called in the geek squad. They identified the problem and told me that they take more Lynksys out of homes than any other router. Just felt like passing this on.

I'm not certain and to find out I must pay someone to check out the component and I've just had it. I have another router now and am having no problems. If Circuit City investigates this and lets me in on the results, I'll pass them on.
Strange. I would be interested in know what the problem was. I have used all manner of Linksys networking products for the last 10 years, and recommend them to my clients with few problems to I can speak of. It's rare for a non-manged switch (this product is a switch and not a router) to prevent an Internet connection.
