The Lincoln Logs rocky mountain ranch play set is my kids favorite. They have other Lincoln Log sets but with this one, there are different structures to build and of all the sets, this one has the most variety. My kids have a lot of fun building with this set. I would recommend to anyone with small children. Even my son, who is a bit younger and doesn't quite know how to build everything yet, still likes playing with these.

We bought the set before my sons 2nd bday and he loved them then. He wasnt able to build with the instuctions but he still played with them..NOw that he is almost 4 he stil loves them, even though some parts are missing. He is asking for more for his birthday. Only thing is it should come with a book of more different thing u can do with them or have instuctions posted on website to print out.

We just purchased these Lincoln Logs for my son this Christmas, and thus far we love them!  The logs are very sturdy and made of real wood.  The wood is smooth and not in any way rough.  No danger of splinters!  They are very easy to put together, even for little hands.  My son has already enjoyed making different buildings, and we love all the little extra accessories that come with the logs:  roof, window, door, flag, etc.  I wish the set would have more detailed instructions, because we have had only the picture on the front to use as a guide.  And the only other negative is just finding a creative way to store so many pieces.  But overall this is a great classic and sturdy toy that I imagine we will enjoy for many hours.  I already can't wait to get my son more sets to add onto this one so that he can build more.  Although this toy has been around for years, I never had them, but now I am hooked.  This is a must have for your little building boys!

We have 3 kids and they all love this Lincoln Log Rocky Mountain Ranch Play Set.  It has plenty of pieces to let their imaginations run wild and enough pieces that they can all three play at one time.  There are some guided directions for different buildings but really the possibilities are endless.  The little figures and props that come with it really make it a complete set.  The pieces are well made and we have had no trouble with anything breaking or splitting.  The big barrel container it comes in is great for storing all of the pieces.  Our kids love to make little towns or scenes out of these Lincoln Logs and then use the horses and cowboys to play in the town.  This toy has really been fun for the whole family as well as we've tried to see who can build the biggest tower.  This Rocky Mountain Ranch Play Set is a great open ended toy that promotes imagination and is lots of fun at many, many ages!

When I was a kid my brother had lincoln logs and he would never let me play with them. Since I was a girl, my mom didn't think to buy me any. They were a boys toy to her. So, jump forward 20 years when I had my son Zach...One of the first purchases I made was a barrel of Lincoln Logs. I was so excited to buy them my son wasn't even old enough to know how to use them. So, I would prop him up and make him little buildings and he would knock them down. So, I finally got my lincoln logs. The most impressive thing about them is all of the different structures you can make. It really builds up kids creativity and teaches a ton about construction and physics. 'When you make something top heavy, it will tumble' was my sons first Lincoln Log lesson. You can buy tons of lincoln logs and make cool lincoln log villages or just one mega mansion..the sky's the limit. Now that my son is getting older he is letting me play less with my, i mean his, lincoln logs. I figure when he is out of the house going to school, I can once again make my little lincoln log cities.

My son, then five, got the Lincoln Logs playset for Christmas.  I was so excited because I remember playing with these when I was his age.  They are just as I remembered.  We have put this set together many times.  The directions are easy to follow and it was something that he could help me out with as we were building.  There are so many toys out there that mom or dad has to basically put together themselves because they are too difficult for a child to help with.  Once the set was put together my son had a lot of fun playing with it.  I also like the bin that it comes in.  The top fits on nicely so your Lincoln Logs aren't spilling out of the box.  This product definitely promotes imaginative play, as there are so many ways to build with them, not just what the directions suggest.  That is one cool thing with Lincoln Logs, your child can just keep building and building with them.  I would recommend this product!

If you have a little man at home that love army tanks and army men as much as mine does, this is a great addition,We build bunkers  and cabins and all kinds of stuff. lincoln log set are made for many hours of imaginative play and alot of patience, my little one can spend all day building his battle field,for his army men. The only con is getting him to distoy it for pick -up. We have had alot of fun with lincoln logs sets over the years

It's packed with 150 Lincoln Logs pieces for the ultimate in country-buildin' fun. - The Lincoln Logs Rocky Mountain Ranch includes complete instructions for 1 model, plus building ideas for 2 additional models - A convenient storage container allows you to take your Lincoln Logs Rocky Mountain Ranch on the road **My Experience** At age four, my son was not completely able to construct a model without assistance.  It was quite difficult to attach the windows without the rest of the building collapsing, which caused some frustration for me and my son.  Other parts were as equally as frustrating at times but, with that said, there was much fun that was still had.  There were plenty of pieces that allowed us to make many different items and my son spent long lengths of time using this toy.  When he turned five years old, he was much more able to follow the instructions to create the model ideas that were given when we purchased the toy.  The colorful cows, cowboys, horses and other accessories really added to his imaginative play.  The fact that these pieces were able to be put back into the storage container and toted around with us was a huge plus.  My son is now six and, although some pieces are missing, he still does use this set.  A few of the logs have broken and there is still that level of frustration when the buildings collapse as they often do.  **My Final Viewpoint** The **Lincoln Logs Rocky Mountain Ranch Play Set **has some good features and some not so great features which has made me decide to give this product a 3 star rating.  Due to the fact that the structures collapse so easily and some parts are difficult for a young child to assemble, I don't see it as much more than an average set. I would only recommend it for a children four years and up though.
