Lightspeed Panel Reviews

I joined Lightspeed Panel just a few months ago, and I have already earned enough points to purchase quite a few items.  So far I have been able to redeem my points several Amazon.com GC, Chilis GC, a radio, and head phones.  Not to mention to products I have been able to sample, and review "before" they hit store shelves.

Lightspeed Panel is one of the best online surveys available!!

As long as there are no technical issues, this place is great.  I have been able to accumulate rewards here faster than most other online survey places.  However, if you ever have any problems with anything, you can forget them ever writing you back.  I really don't know why they even bother having an email address, I doubt anyone even reads it.  Every time I've been given a survey that will give me more than 300 points, something has gone wrong at the very end and I have not been given these points.  The first few times I just let it go, it wasn't that big of a deal, but the last time I was...

I've been doing surveys for Lightspeed for a few years now.

Their old reward system was not very rewarding. However, they now give you a $5 PayPal payment for 575 points. I like to get $5 Amazon GCs for 550 points. Short surveys (10 minutes) will give you around 75 points. Longer surveys (25 minutes) will get you 200 points or more.

You don't get any points if you try to take a survey and don't qualify, but you do get any entry into the $5,000 sweepstakes.

Pros:

The lightspeed panel has many surveys available everyday.  You only qualify for them about half of the time, but there are so many, that you can get many rewards.

You have a variety of rewards to chose from.  You can get payed with PayPal, get gift certificates, CDs, music downloads, merchandise, etc.

I once got to join a "research chat room" that paid me a lot for just logging to and chatting with other member for a couple of days.  That was cool, but it only happened once.

Cons:

They really cheat you.  I often will fill out a survey for 150 points and receive no point or 75 points...

I have been satisfied for the most part with Lightspeed Panel. It's not a lot of money fast, but it's extra pocket money. Lately, the surveys have had me work for 10 minutes or so and then decide I don't qualify. What's going on? It used to be that 5-7 questions would determine qualification. Based on the questions, I believe they are getting the data they are after, then giving the disqualification message. Twice in the past few days I have gotten 8-10 questions into a survey, then it just takes me back to the Members page with no rewards given and no chance to finish the survey, and no message...

I joined the lightspeed panel at www.lightspeed.com. I joined about eight months ago. It took me 6 months in order to have enough points to get anything. I did about forty surveys and then some. I then received an amazon.com five dollar gift card. It took so much time and energy for only five dollars. I was hoping to get at least a ten dollar gift card by that point. Once I received my gift card it booted me off the site. Not allowing me to take any more surveys or make any more money. I have been a panel member for Lightspeed for about 4 years, and overall, I have had good experiences. However, if you have a problem with one of the surveys or getting your rewards, don't even bother trying to get in touch with them. They DO NOT RESPOND. I have had two issues: once, I completed a survey for 500 points and clicked submit, and didn't get my points. The other time, I submitted my reward certificate request, they deducted 1650  points from my account, and then never sent me the gift certificate. In November 2008 I attempted to cash in some of my Lightspeed Points.  Site stated if near holiday prize may be delayed.  Four months later, I contacted them about non receipt of prize.  They said shopping cards I chose were mailed in November.  I told them I never received them and seems like the cards should have numbers that could be checked that they have not been used.  Heard nothing further from them.  So this problem has not been resolved and I will not participate in any more of their panels.  I was a panelist for over a year and this was my first attempt to cash in points. ...

When I first joined this site, I was very happy with them. But lately I have been having a lot of issues and I am very much unhappy at this point. Technical errors have caused me to miss out on about $10 worth of points, possibly more, and another $15 worth of points just never appeared in my account. I have contacted their support e-mail MANY times without one single response. I have even told them how very much dissatisfied I am with their service, but to no avail. I plan on getting enough points to cash out one last time, and then quit.
