Puppy Chow is Great
In July of 2013, we added a little German Shepherd puppy to our family. The breeder from whom we got him gave us health guarantee on him provided that we only fed him a Life's Abundance food. He fed all of his dogs the adult formula for price reasons, but we decided to go with the large breed puppy formula to make sure we were giving our new baby the right nutrition for his growing body. Five months later and all puppy shots and initial check completed, our boy is about 75 pounds and still growing. His coat is shiny and lustrous and silky with minimal dandruff (a big problem with most black GSDs) despite their breed standard of having coarse hair. His eyes are bright and shiny, his teeth and claws are great and tough and overall, he's a magnificent and healthy puppy who our vet says is much healthier and better developed than most large breed puppies his age; some of which may be his breeding, but much of which we attribute to his food since we know and regularly see his brother who is not on Life's Abundance and who is not as shiny and healthy looking. I also love the customer service with the brand and its automatic warning should there be any recall issues. It's pricey, but I think it's worth it for the quality. Flavor Selection I haven't noticed any flavor options, but our dog seems to love it, so that's a plus.
