Life is a funny cop show we both like!
Likes to be entertained, a comedy fan

Life, the NBC TV show, not the concept, is all about a funny quirky cop named Charlie and his partner.  It's called Life because Charlie was framed and sent to prison for life, he was later exonerated and let go only to rejoin the police force.  In prison he does a lot of soul searching and came out a very Zen man.  Besides solving crimes he is still looking for the people that set him up.

His sidekick is a friend from jail that manages his money, he got rich from a settlement after being released from jail.  They make a funny team.

not a same, old, boring cop show!

We recently got cable with "On Demand" and one of the shows available to us with this feature was LIFE. My husband and I watched 2 episodes from season 2 and were hooked! We have been renting season one and are really into this show.

We liked the acting of Damian Lewis (Crews) in Band Of Brothers but this role is totally different. And we didn't like him in Dreamcatcher too much but again.. different role. He really pulls this one off well. Crews' quirkiness reminds me of Goren from Law and Order (who I also love)

As far as Sarah Shahi's caracter (Reese) I can take her or leave her. I do like...

It's a great tv show that could be actually based on truth.

I enjoy watched this tv show because it could be actually be a true story or based on truth.

Coruption in police deparments happen everyday all around us and most of it we don't even hear about. So, when you see a tv show exploit it it shows what ifs and what could bes. Police officers are human just like everyone else. They all make mistakes and they are all tempted by the same "evil" civil people are. The difference is, police officers are suppose to know the difference between right and wrong. They are suppose to make the right choices and be role models for our communities.

In checking out the new television season I find this one is a keeper. NBC has done a good job and this is an excellent show, well worth watching.  It is new and fresh and not the same ole predictable stuff.  Many unanswered questions that will keep you tuning in, there are stories within the story.  Who framed Charlie (the main character), for a crime he did not commit, who can he trust, is it all as it seems to be?  Interesting relationships, his partner Reese with her own issues and demons, his attorney, wow, his friend and house mate, and the unseen as yet father who is about to be married.  How... review »

I have been watching this show since the beginning, and the characters are some of the most interesting I have seen on a cop show. There is always an interesting investigation, homicide to start and then moves on. The main character Crews seems to have learned to deal well with his wrongful imprisonment. But I believe that as the show goes on, people will find out that there is more than just interest in the truth underneath all of his calm zenlike approach to his private investigation. Finally Something Different

Excellent show! Finally something new to TV, not at all predictable.  Full of interesting twists and turns, who can Charlie really trust?  Who really framed him?  Is he going to hook up with Reese?  What's the deal with him and the attorney?  Once you start watching this show you'll get hooked, it's easier to follow from the beginning and NBC has done a good job with the website as well, keeps me coming back for more.  The acting is very belieavealbe, not over the top or anything like that, and I love the characters!!!  Let's home this one lasts!!!

Bound to be a classic tv character

Life is a new classic tv show.  It is a character driven drama that also includes plenty of witty humor.  The writing is very smart and clever.  The storylines are exciting and entertaining.  However, the real driving force behind this show is it's charcters portrayed wonderfully by the well-casted actors.  This show has a little something for everyone.  I highly recommend this show for one solid hour of great entertainment.

a Zensational Show

LIfe is a must tivo show not to be missed.  The ride the show takes you on each week is well worth the time spent watching it.  Damian Lewis is such a fascinating character as Charlie and his side kick "not batman" is a wonderful addition. The show almost loses itself in his spotlight, all the same it is an enjoyable hour spent each week!

This show just rocks. I did not like it a first but then I started watching it again because my wife was DVR' ing the episodes and I realized that the show was great. I love the wall that he has in his closet. I also like that the his friend from prison is still his friend.

I also like that he is flawed and so are the people around him.
