Life Fitness

Comments about Life Fitness Treadmill:

My reason for choosing the Life Fitness treadmill is because I really like the feel of gym treadmills and see the best results on them but absolutely abhor going to the gym and working out in front of people. This treadmill has been the answer to my prayers so to speak in providing me with absolutely every single bell and whistle I could think of and more. With over a dozen different workout options and settings I literally can never get bored while working out on this treadmill which has done wonders for my motivation to keep up an active healthy style of living. When working out is enjoyable and even fun it makes sticking with a workout plan pretty easy.

Performance
One of the top performing treadmills I have personally owned or used. It has an intelligent design and is designed to adapt to my personal preferences.

Comfort
The shock absorption of the treadmill is one of my favorite things about it as it helps me to avoid shin splints.

Comments about Life Fitness Treadmill:

I have used these machines almost daily at the gym for years and they are quite neat. There are several features I am a fan of. First of all, the machine can be set to your weight and height and age so you get a more accurate prediction of how many calories you are burning. I like this feature because I can plug the data into my fitness app. Another neat feature of this machine is a place to put your water bottle and a place to fit a wallet or ID etc if you're at the gym and have items you won't trust in the locker room. It also includes an USB port on the machine so you can charge your phone or sync with some apps to log your workouts. It's a fairly neat machine. I can change the speed setting and the incline/decline on this so I can personalize each workout so I don't get stuck in the same routine as I do with my floor model that sits flat.

Performance
It works great. I can program the machine before my workouts to personalize them or I can edit my speed and incline mid-workout to make it more interesting. I like that I can also stop the machine and take a break and it still keeps a running total of my workout for me and doesn't automatically clear the data.

Comfort
It's fairly comfortable. It's certainly better than running on concrete. The handles are okay but I do prefer the ones with the grips running left to right along the front of the machine.

Ease of Use
This machine is very easy to use. You can simply hit go and it does the rest. The rest of it is digital and easy to filter through. I would wager it's simple enough for young teens or younger to use but I wouldn't recommend this machine for anyone who isn't familiar with workout equipment. The digital aspect makes it nice for me but it may make it harder for others.

Durability
These machines seem durable. I've been using them for several years and they are holding up just fine.

Design
These are designed quite well. I especially love that you can change the incline and even use a decline if you want a little bit more of a challenge.

Great treadmill

Comments about Life Fitness Treadmill:

I used the Life Fitness Treadmill 4 days a week for about 3 months and can say it is one of the best treadmill's I have ever used. I used the F3 Go Folding specifically for short burst running. I would jog for 30 seconds and sprint for 30 seconds. I found lowering and increasing the speed to be very easy and the transition between the two was extremely smooth. The F3 was very kind to my knees when I was carrying extra weight and it felt even better when I reached my goal size. When I was running on this treadmill it felt like I was being propelled with each stride, which helped me to get through my workouts initially. The display screen is bright and came in handy when I was tracking my progress. I would log my previous workouts each session and gradually increased my intensity. The calorie counter wasn't the most accurate, but it gave me an idea of how hard I was working during each workout. I used the heart monitor feature once and it appeared to work, but it's wasn't practical for me to hold on to the hand sensors when sprinting.

Good piece of equipment

Comments about Life Fitness Treadmill:

I think if you are going to invest in a treadmill for your home gym then this one should be it. I purchased this treadmill to use at home for days when I either couldn't make it to the gym or could not go outside due to the weather. I normally try not to use the treadmill regularly since it is not the best piece of work out equipment for your knees and back but when I do I use this one. This treadmill is very durable and performs very well. I have never had any issues or any equipment malfunctions yet. I love this treadmill especially because it is so comfortable when using it and my sneakers are not constantly hitting the front like some of them do. I also do not find myself tripping on this treadmill at all like I sometimes will do on the treadmills at the gym. It is designed very well and it is pretty easy to use. As long as you read the manual for the treadmill you should be all set to go when it comes to using it.

stay warm in the winter and still get fit

Comments about Life Fitness Treadmill:

This is just a fantastic machine. It fits brilliantly in my basement game room so it make working out easy and fun since I can watch a movie or play a game while exercising and using it. You would be amazed how far you can walk when you can get lost in a movie. The heart rate monitor is easy to use and conveniently located on the handles and I love the way it tracks your distance. My only complaint is that I can not get the music jack to work but I believe that is more user error then the machines fault and it is okay because I just watch a movie anyway. Since having this machine I have actually worked out more. It is so much easier and convenient and I have more motivation when it is my game room. Also my wife and I can both work out while watching our shows and alternate between them.

Performance
We have now had this machine for a couple of years and have used it most nights. The speed controls and walking service works like a dream and my wife and I have both lost weight.

Comfort
Very comfortable walking surface even when you are not wearing shoes.

Ease of Use
Just step on it and start walking it does not get any easier than that.

Durability
As I said before we have had this for almost two years and we use it almost ever night and it still works as well as it did the first day we bought it.

Design
Very attractive and fits very well with our game room decor.

Life Fitness Treadmill

Comments about Life Fitness Treadmill:

I had debated purchasing a treadmill for a long time because I love walking outside. Then it was pointed out to me that snow, wind and ice does not make for conducive walking. Good point. So I purchased this Life Fitness Treadmill. I found it to be a worthwhile investment. I could continue my walking/exercise routine inside when the weather was bad. Before I had purchased this treadmill, I had not been working out on those bad weather days. I was hindering any progress I was making. The walking area on this treadmill is secure and there are no worries about slipping. It is a quiet machine to use. The control panel is easy to read, easy to follow, easy to change up the routine. The only thing I wished this treadmill had was longer handles on the sides to hold on to when I was just starting out and when I was cooling down. I don't like to be so close to the end of the treadmill when I am walking and need to hold onto the handles at times.

Good treadmill

By

Comments about Life Fitness Treadmill:

The life fitness treadmill is a pretty good treadmill. I have been using one at the gym for awhile and I just recently decided to purchase one for my home. I will tell you I could not be happier with the results. I have had it now for several months and I haven't had any problems with it. It run very smoothly and is incredibly easy to operate. It allows me to customize me workouts so that I can get the best, most accurate results. I like to set goals with burning calories, and my entering my weight before my workouts, I can be sure that the number of calories it says I burned is fairly accurate.
I can't really speak to the life fitness treadmills durability because I have not had it very long. I know that gyms replace their treadmill fairly regularly but that is because they get so much use.
I would recommend that you consider buying a life fitness treadmill if you are looking for a treadmill. They are top of the life and I am sure you will be pleased.

Nice treadmill with minor flaws.

By

Comments about Life Fitness Treadmill:

The Life Fitness Treadmill is the nicest I know of but it still needs improvement. It is very smooth to start and to change gradient or speed. It also monitors heart rate and has several other options. The buttons need improvement though, as I find them hard to press (don't always work). It's also pricey, so I would consider buying a basic treadmill rather than the Life Fitness.

Great Treadmill

By

from USA

Comments about Life Fitness Treadmill:

I have a heart/lung illness so I'm not able to do a lot of exercise. A few years ago I wanted to start moving more and thought a treadmill would be perfect. This is a great simple treadmill. It has different speeds and does incline as well. It seems to be very stable, but I'm not sure how running would be on it for long periods of time.

Performance
Because I just use it to walk, it's perfect for me. It has a good range of speeds and a range of incline.

Comfort
Not sure how it compares to others, but it seems to be fine for me. I do always wear tennis shoes. But I guess when I think about it, it does give off a slight bounce it to.

Ease of Use
Super easy! You can either go with a plan on the treadmil, it will go faster and the incline will change if you want an actual program. Or you can just pick what you want to do. And then you just walk or run. All you need is the space and an outlet.

Durability
I've had it a few years now and still works like new! I make sure to wipe it down every month or so to make sure it stays that way.

Design
It's a simple treadmil, but I didn't want anything super fancy.

One of the best things we own.

Comments about Life Fitness Treadmill:

I am one that hates public gyms, having people seeing me workout, plus it is just a major inconvenience to have to travel to them when I live in a small rural area. When we bought this, it was a big deal because it knocked a dent in our budget (it being such a large buy, it is amazing for the price) and we also were scared we would never use it. However, after a baby and unemployment coming along... I had gained some weight that made me feel uncomfortable and unhappy constantly. I still have a busy life, and being able to just walk down my stairs and run off the weight and run out my stress really has made a large impact on me. Not to mention, this machine is complete and total high quality. It works you into a routine in the perfect way, and I would definitely speak highly of this Treadmill to anyone who asked. It is efficient, has perfect places for phones, books, and of course for drinks. It also has kept going no matter how hard we pushed it. One of my best buys, hands down.
