The LifeCycle 9500 HR upright bike was formerly a staple of commercial gyms and fitness centers. As such, there is a plentiful supply of these pieces of equipment on eBay and at used fitness equipment outlets. The going price on eBay is about $400, plus or minus. This is a fraction of the original new price.

These are rock solid commercial machines which are very durable. Unlike the home models which utilize a drive belt, these use a drive chain which is unlikely to ever break. An additional plus is that parts are simple, cheap and readily available at fitness equipment merchants on the internet....

This bike is fantastic.  You pay a little more for it, but it is worth every cent.  The gears are strong and the programs a pleantiful..  You can watch a video and go manual, or follow a program straight through. Over a life time, you are saving yourself a trmendous amount of money.  Instead of renting a Gym, you are accumulating one wit the same equipment.  They are also great at customer service with any problems you may have.  The only downfall is that the programs have limited times, but this wway you can do several and vary your workout.
