I have had the Life Fitness CT9500 HR Cross Trainer for seveal years and highly recommend it. I originally purhcased it because I was having lower back problems and I was told that the eliptical would help, which it has.
I used most of the higher end Elipticals at the gym and found the I liked the Life Fitness versions the best. I know many other people prefer the Precor Elipticals but I find the motion of the Life Fitness more to my liking.
I have probably spent a good 100 hours on the machine and it has never missed a beat. My only complaint is that there is one plastic piece that gets...
read full review »When I tested the X3 and wished I immediately wished I had an extra $2,700. I just got off a Vision Fitness elliptical. Vision builds a nice machine, but the Life Fitness X3 is in a whole another category.
The elliptical motion is about as smooth as it gets, and talk about quiet. Even when I adjusted the resistance I couldn't hear any noise.
Life Fitness is about superior engineering and design. That comes into play when...
read full review »The life fitness CT9500HRR Cross trainer is great. You only have to workout on one piece of equipment to get a complete workout. It makes you feel like you have worked out for about an hour without all of the soreness. I have Fibromyalgia and severe arthritis so my doctor told me to try this equipment and see how it works. I went to the gym and tried it and it was fantastic. I was able to walk out of the gym instead of crawling. I would recommend this to anybody, especially someone that has problems, because it really is easy to do and it really does help. It helps to strengthen your...
read full review »This is the best of the best. I've used several different brands of elliptical machines and Life fitness are really the cream of the crop. Some elliptical machines when you get on them feel cheap or are so difficult you can't even get started. Life fitness machines are sturdy, don't feel cheap and you can set your level so if you don't feel like going all out you still can get a good workout. The different levels and different exercise plans, fat burn, cardio, etc gives you many choices. What I also find great is if you have a heart transmitter it displays on the screen, or you can just use the...
read full review »I love using the elliptical because they are low impact. This particular one I think is the most comfortable and allows the rider to have a more natural form. It has many settings and is easy to understand and use. It provides a good workout for both the upper and lower body. With its multiple settings it is a great machine for any athlete or person just wanting to sweat a little bit. One of the down falls of this machine is that it can be noisy and after long periods of time my feet fall asleep. I would recommend this machine to anyone who is looking for a good workout without the impact of things...
read full review »I love my Life Fitness Crosstrainer. It is wonderful. I try to use it everyday. I use 15 minute intervals at one time. I am handicapped so I cannot do long terms at one time. It has a very durable structure as compared to the crosstrainers I found in the regular stores. I purchased my crosstrainer through a regular dealer that sells to gyms and other stores or business that offer that clients can come to the establishment and use the equipment on site. That means that have to be very durable. I love my crosstrainer.
This elliptical is the best! Well, I can't actually tell you that. I really haven't used too many others. But, it has everything I need. I normally don't use the preset options of aerobic/fat burning/ etc but rather go to the manual option. I've had this machine for quite some time now and have never had a problem with using it. I love that I'm able to keep track of my heart rate with the monitor. There's nothing more I can say about this machine. It's great and worth the purchase to keep myself fit and healthy.
