Liberty Mutual Review

I have dealt with several insurance companies over the years and usually switch not because of cost but because I am unhappy with my company's treatment of me when I need them.  I have never had an "at fault" accident so it is not even that I caused a loss for my insurer.  I was rear ended by someone insured with Travelers.  They quit paying the medical bills and claimed that all attempts to contact me failed...only they had never attempted to contact me.  However, I expected this treatment from the insurance company of the person who hit me.  Later I switched to Travelers because they had good rates.  Again, I was rear-ended.  Being in MA my insurance company covers the bills and recuperates from the other person's company.  Even in this situation, they stopped paying the bills!  I think this time they tried to claim that I had not notified them...of course I had contacted them the day of the accident and had the claim number etc.  In fact, when I needed an MRI I contacted them for approval ahead of time because of the issues I had with them in the past.  Anyway, once again I was forced to hire an attorney to deal with the situation because the insurance company was underhanded.

I have been insured with Liberty Mutual ever since that last bad experience with Travelers.  I was hit this past summer by someone who failed to stop at a stop sign because she admittedly was turned around talking to her children in the back seat.  Liberty Mutual made the situation easy to deal with.  They were on top of it, paid the bills timely (I did not even need to receive the payment and sign off on it - they paid the body shop directly), and followed up with me to verify I was satisfied.  Prior to that incident, I needed a replacement windshield due to a crack that appeared in mine.  Again, Liberty Mutual gave me a list of preferred providers (using a preferred provider gives a lifetime warranty on the work done) and paid them directly.  Once again, they made it easy.

 Liberty Mutual is the one insurance company that I have to admit...I have nothing bad to say about them!  I recommend this company highly.  If you are tired of dealing with insurance companies that make you feel like the enemy, check out Liberty Mutual...they will make you feel like you have a friend on your side.
