As per TV commercial, Liberty Mutual does not raise your rates after first accident. They will not renew your policy. Another excuse not to renew your policy is if you use roadside assistance they offer, although I do no recollect using it and they will not show any proof.

As a result of that they sent me so many confusing papers to sign and date my insurance went up over $1000 a year and being so frustrated I removed uninsured motorist off of my policy I asked them to just change my policy back to the way it was in February 2018 and not having any response as I was recently in the hospital having my appendix removed someone backed into my vehicle and left a dent and no name and number and I am finding out today that I am also stuck with this bill because my insurance won't cover it

Not worth the low cost. Refused to honor discount for driver tracking. Didn't add vehicle when asked. Daughter went uninsured for weeks before their mistake was discovered.

My husband & I were with Liberty Mutual Insurance for years, up until two days ago. I went to make a payment, greeted by a very unprofessional & arrogant Rep on the phone. Instead of helping me she suggested I take my payment & go get an Insurance policy somewhere else. So she helped us alright, by making it easier to leave Liberty Mutual Ins. Co., & going somewhere else, this was long overdue, way to expensive, not a good customer service atmosphere at all, she treated us like we did not matter & were way beneath her. Like my husband said she opened the door & made it easier for us to leave. 'What a Blessing in disguise." We will be taking our Homeowner's Insurance Policy away as well & bundleing it with our new Insurance Co., who by the way were very happy to have us, in such Profession. Reason of review: Poor customer service.

In a total that was not my fault, I'm offered 2000 dollars less than I found NADA value to be...that offer was supposed to be with my add ons. A $1200 tonneau cover only adds $300 to the value??? They have treated me like it was my fault. The claims lady was rude. I can't wait to be rid of this garbage dump!

We have been having an awful experience dealing with Liberty Mutual. It has been literally nothing short of a nightmare. A year ago, we bought over 10 insurance policies through Liberty Mutual office in Salem, NH. One year later, and two weeks before the policies were up for renewal, we wrote to Liberty Mutual and informed them that we are not interested in renewing any of the policies. Concurrently, we signed and faxed the cancellation forms and got a fax report confirmation. Liberty Mutual failed to cancel the policies, and billed the renewal premium to two mortgage companies. The mortgage companies paid the premiums! We have been trying -for over 6 weeks- to get Liberty Mutual to refund us the premiums to no avail! Liberty Mutual failed to even respond to our request for an update on the status of the refunds. Consumers: Stay Away!

In 2014 I had pneumonia. I filed for state temporary disability. Liberty mutual stole money from my benefits. it took me three years to collect the money that they stole and the only reason why they handed over my cash was because they got caught. On 11/02/2017 I was hit by a car. I filed for state temporary disability. Liberty mutual on their own changed the claim from state temporary disability to worker's compensation for the purpose of delaying and denying the claim. On 11/20/2017 I had cancer surgery. On 11/21/2017 I filed a claim for state temporary disability. On 12/-8/2017 the department of labor sent liberty mutual all the required documents, but liberty mutual never opened the claim. Now I'm doing nothing but fighting with them. Just like I had cancer and needed to be cure. liberty mutual is a cancer and the world needs to be cured of them!!

Is the third time in the last few years but I tried to give liberty mutual chance for a quote. They consistently came up $1000 more than what I'm paying with my current insurer. Part of the reason they're blasting the media with the advertising is that the business is not what they claim it to be. Not worth wasting your time asking for a quote.

I am very displeased with your customer service that we were provided with. March 8th we were provided this quote and had to find out when our current policy renewed before switching. Upon contacting your representative back this evening to began coverage what we received was a bunch of double talking stating our auto insurance rates would go from $695 per year as quoted to $771 per year even though we were seeking home & auto. First.... Ernest Marin should not attempt to fast talk and attempt to pull a double switch on a potential long term customer, obviously this leaves a very sour taste with us for Liberty Mutual as far as doing any business with your organization or referring anyone to your organization for future business. Second.... We will be sure to express our experience with Liberty Mutual on Social Media and any and all review sites stating how your representative attempted to pull a quick talking double switch in a 48 hour time frame. It's obvious you as a company need to review your training procedures with your representatives and should realize the impact bad reviews has on your business growth and revenue growth. VERY DISAPPOINTED FORMER POTENTIAL CUSTOMER
