Lexus IS 250 AWD - 2007

If you are looking for a car that has clean lines, sporty look and AWD this car is for you. 

If you are looking for HP, good gas mileage and trunk space, this car is not for you.

I have the 2007 IS 250 AWD.  Great looking car.  Small interior. The backseat doesn't fold down but gives you a pass through.  What was Lexus thinking?  You can't fit much in the tiny trunk.  Granted the seats are heated and cooled, the Nav system is pretty good, the bluetooth is great for hands free and the climate control is pretty easy to operate.  However, at 204 HP, there is no power when trying to merge with highway traffic.  Another con, the car uses Premium gas. The seats are somewhat comfortable. You can not fit 4 -6ft people in this car. Lexus lied. I am 5'8" and with me and my fiance in the car, we can not fit taller people in the backseat.  Yes, we can fit our dogs or someone's small children comfortably but 6ft people, no way.  The Nav system does not play DVDs, only the cars shipped to Canada does.

I wanted a car that has AWD for the area I live in as we get snow.  I wanted a car that looked sporty and classy at the same time. I wanted a car that had NAV, heated seats, sunroof, keyless entry, push button start and back-up camera. Found it all in the IS.  Hey, I'm a woman and to not fumble around in my purse to find keys is a major plus. However, I didn't want a car that gets 19/24 mpg.  I didn't want 91-93 octane for fuel. I didn't want a car that you cant fit a picture in the trunk as the seats do not fold and split. This car is also lacking an iPod kit...sure you can hook up your iPod for the AUX but you can't control it.

Great looking car. Great accessories for the buck. Poor gas mileage and trunk room.
