I got the Lexmark 1240 in October, to replace a brand new HP that wasn't working. While I love the Lexmark brand, I'm not thrilled with this printer. When I scan, it squeaks. It has had it's share of jammed paper, prints lines (even after aligning), and is just not my fave printer overall. I bought the Lexmark as the printer I had before (& LOVED) was a Lexie as well. My next purchase may or may not be a Lexie. This one has definitely made me think my loyalty. I guess you get what you pay for, even with a good name.
