Lexmark X4650 Review

Our printer stopped working correctly so I decided instead of wasting time trying to fix it I would just purchase a new printer.  I headed to the office supply store to do some browsing.  We had an all-in-one printer combo previously and we needed to keep that style of printer for the type of work my husband does in our home.  We also previously had a Lexmark brand printer and I liked the ease of finding ink at most stores, including our grocery store, in a pinch. 

I didn't want to spend more than $100 and I saw this printer on the shelf in the $80 range.  What really drew me to this model was the fact that it was a wireless model.  We run a wireless network in our home with 3 desktop computers and 2 laptops.  It was really frustrating when I wanted to print from my laptop and I would have to walk over to the printer and hook it up to print.  This printer rocks because I just installed the software on each computer and I can print from my laptop upstairs and it will print downstairs on the printer - YAY!

The software was easy to load and works great.  The printer itself prints really nicely - although it did go through a black cartridge very quickly.  It copies and scans great as well.  Overall a really nice printer for a great price.
