Disgusted is what I am. Bought this model on 19 June 2011, and the printer head stopped working, after fairly light home usage, on 7 July 2011. During a long, difficult call to Customer Service (difficult because reps English was so heavily accented that I had repeated trouble understanding him), Customer Service told me that a "manufacturing defect" was clearly the problem and that I would be sent a replacement immediately - to arrive no later than 12 July. Nothing arrived, so I called Customer Service on 13 July, only to find that there was absolutely no record of my previous call, nor of any replacement head having been sent. As if he were reading from a script, the rep, "Chris," gave me the exact same assurances (almost verbatim) I had been given during the 8 July phone call. He "guaranteed" me (once again) that I would receive a replacement within 2 business days, that he had already dispatched the order, that he would throw in a set of ink cartridges (that was nothing new either), and that he would send me an email confirmation of our phone call and his report number. It is now 3 hours later, and I have received no such email. I am already sorry I bought this printer, and I emphatically would NOT recommend it to anyone. I will never again buy a Lexmark product.

After 15 years we determined that we needed a new printer. Off we went to check out the new features and basic functions available. We found that the Lexmark S605 Wireless Multifuction Inkjet Printer fit our budget and needs better than any other printer available. The hardest part about settingup this printer was getting it out of the box. Within 20 min. we had the printer set up, connected to our wireless network and installed on two desktop PCs and an Apple iMac. This was the simplist install that we have encountered, especially when connecting both PCs and Apple machines. The cost for replacement ink is less than many printers on the market and the printer is very quiet. The fact this printer prints on both sides of the paper is a real bonus with a teenager who is taking advance placement courses, she prints a lot of papers for school. I have been startled when paper starts feeding into the printer to print a job because it is so quiet. My husband works with digital copiers every day is very impressed with the print quality of this printer. I would recommend this printer to anyone wanting a simple set up, inexpensive replacement cost and quiet functions.

After just a few months, the screen has quit working and everything has to be done from the PC.                                                                                                                                                    Kind of defeats the purpose of the touch screen.                                                                                                                                                              Also, the ink seems to go pretty quickly and is expensive to replace.                                                                                                                                                                                                                          The next models up take the new, cheaper ink, but this one does not.                                                                                                                                                                       Worth the extra money for the next higher model.

Our home is a two story home and we don't have enough space for an office so the wireless printer was an ideal option for us. We didn't want the printer in plain site and we only have laptops in the house. I was able to connect the printer via wireless with the main laptop just fine, but had problems connecting the printer to an additional laptop. It shouldn't be the laptop as both laptops are Dells. There has also been some problems with the printer loosing connection with the laptop and needs to be rebooted before connection returns. The print quality is good and the ink cartridges aren't outrageous in price. I am able to print a fair amount before having to purchase new cartridges. I am not sure if I like or hate the fact that the color inks are separated. I've never had to buy them all separate before. The price was fair for all that this printer can do. The scan function is very easy and I am very pleased.

I love this printer.  This is the first printer I have that printed on both sides without turning the paper.  The graphics are excellent.  I have no problem with the paper tray.  Scans and copy with ease.

I have used quite a few different printers in my life, and I'm not exaggerating when I say that exceeds twenty different printers. And so far I have to say this is one of my favorites. The **Lexmark Interact S605 (A4) All-in-One Colour Inkjet Wireless Printer** never gave me a problem, not once. I loved the fact that it's a three in one- a printer, a copier, AND a scanner. It also is very easy to work. With the touch of a button or two I could scan, copy, or print what I need to. It also didn't lag and it printed, scanned, and copied very fast. As for the quality of printing, it is downright amazing. I printed pictures for a photo album on photo paper and the colors were always outstanding and the picture was crystal clear with no blur at all. When printing documents and other things like that it printed very clean and orderly like they should be. I also loved the touchscreen interface which was a shock to me because I do not care for anything that is touchscreen. Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

At time i do a lot of printing for my church and i need a printer that would keep up with me. Sometime , when you doing a lot of work you don`t have time to wates . and the Lexmark printer have done that . ALso, when I am on the computer printing what i have downloarded .

I had orginally bought the printer just to hold me over till we could find another one. we were going to use this one until we found a new one then give it to a friend and let them use it. We thought it would be easy to pass along to someone and to just move on to a different printer or faxer. So we got it on sale. we were not looking for one that did everything but it was about the same price with a discount that we got in the mail or something. So we got it and took it home and my husband took a little longer then expected getting it out and up and running but that was only because of something that he misread in the instructions. So after we got past that hickup in the road we went ahead and set it up. Then we got to the fun part were it was working and we were just utterly amazed at everything we could do with it. dong my husbands work from home was no longer a chore for me and it was actually able to do it in less time so i could do other things. I am not going to give my printer away now!
