I love my Epson All in one Color printer/scanner and the Dura-brite pigment that does not run when wet, but it costs a tremendous amount for just printing black documents.  I figured it out and discovered I can save a fortune by buying the Lexmark for simple document printing.  I can also save money by buying the recyclable toner cartridges which if nothing else makes me feel better that it is not just going into a landfill.  They even pay to ship the cartridge back so it is the best of both worlds. Provantage.com is the cheapest site for these recyclable toner cartridges.  It only took about 450 pages to pay off the purchase price of the printer, not including the replacement toner cartridges.  I suggest you order a new toner cartridge when you order the printer because the cartridge that comes with the printer is a small one that only gets you started.  It also has a nice feature that lets you know when you are getting low on toner and shows what the level is.
