This printer is great. In todays society with desktop computers being used less and less, who wants to have to plus in their laptop anytime they want to print something? With the Lexmark X4875 you can set it up through your wireless router and print from almost anywhere in your home. I spend a lot of time in my living room using my laptop and the printer is back in the office. When I want to print something I just click print and when I get up to go to the printer, my document is sitting there waiting for me. This printer does it all! You can print regular documents or even photos. There are different ink cartridges available, even specifically for printing photos. It has a copier, scanner, slots to plug in photo memory cards, etc. It's perfect for me! Only downfalls of this printer are the cost of ink refills, they are a bit pricey, and the speed at which it prints. It's great for printing small documents with only a few pages but if you have something of volume, expect to be there waiting for awhile.

Every time I've purchased a new computer I've received a free lexmark printer, usually a three-in-one or scanner type.  This is the only one that I've had no problems with.  The quality of the print-outs is fairly good; not hi-quality, but good enough for most people's purposes.  The scanner does a good job.  I've scanned a number of very old family photos and then had them professionally printed, and the quality of the scans has proven to be very good. The only problem is that lexmark ink is much more expensive than the epson, Hp, and Brother inks that I use.

This is a great printer to use with a household with 5 computers running at any one time.  You don't have to be connected to the printer to use it, you don't have to even be in the same room.  The printer was easy to set up and use. The only draw back seems to be the cost of the ink.  You have to replace the ink pretty often.
