I have had the lexmark x3650 for a couple of years now and it has worked fine aside from the fact that every time I turn it on it wants me to align my printer but if I press cancel it will skip it and everything will print just fine.  The scanner works great, have had no issues with that ever and I have been able to scan all of my important documents into it.  I like being able to use the usb port to plug in a usb jump drive and print pictures and documents right from the thumb drive, just in case my laptop or computer is down or not around. The ink consumption maybe could be a little better, but what printer has great ink usage, that is one of the great scams of printers is that the ink usually costs more than the printer, as I believe I got this printer for like 50 bucks, but it has been worth the money easily.  I would like it if it had wireless printing and to tell the truth I never checked so maybe it does, but I just plug in a usb cord and have no problems usually.  A solid printer for the price.

The ink runs out quickly in the first starter cartridge. The refills for black and color ink are expensive and you do not get anywhere near the number of pages they promise. The prices for refills keep going up. The worst part is that Lexmark has inserted a chip in the printer which causes the printer to think that the ink is empty even when you refill it. So you cannot refill your own ink. So far I have not been able to bypass this problem despite doing a lot of research online. They came out with a new cartridge which they call "high volume", promising 500 pages. I was so annoyed that I counted the number of pages I printed and it was approximately 200 pages, nowhere near the number promised. A definite thumbs down, I am looking for another laser printer. Don't be sucked in by the low cost, the ink will cost way more than the price of the printer.

This was one of the first printers that I bought before buying an HP and ended up giving it to my parents before I moved away. It was a pretty quick and easy set up. I simply plugged it in and installed the cd and was pretty much ready to go without any problems (after doing the usual alignment). The printer does the job and really doesn't disappoint. It's inexpensive which is a plus and prints pretty fast also. The only thing is it goes through ink pretty fast. I didn't use the printer too often, but I would have to replace it about every six weeks on average. The printer is a few years old now and still works fine without any problems. It has a number of different inputs for printing directly from a digital camera, usb port, and a variety of different memory cards. It would have been convenient if the printer came with WIFI considering that's almost standard for printers nowadays. But you get what you pay for and I was pleased with the performance it gave me the past few years and my parents haven't had any complaints.

I got this printer after my HP printer gave up on me after a year in college. I was so devestated and I told me friend who recommended this printer. I have to say this is one of the printers I've had. I had previously another lexmark printer which I passed on to my brother who is in high school and he uses it all the time for homework and stuff. This printer though is great! I love that it prints page fast, and that it scans pictures and documents quickly on to your usb! The issues I have encountered are minor details. One thing, is that I tried using some photo paper from my previous HP photo printer and it didn't accept it since I only had the black ink cartridge, it said I needed to change photopaper or add the ink color cartiridge for it to work. I haven't tried either, so I'm not sure yet. I also didn't like that it kept asking me for the ink color cartridge when I printed black and white documents from Word, but it still printed them out, which is what I needed. I also couldn't figure out how to have it scan pictures to my laptop directly, but I didn't read all the instructions so I think its a matter of time, I think its stuff I have to download and I just haven't gotten around to it. So either way, this is a great all-in-one printer, the scans it has are very clear and crisp, I love that it has a black and white OR color option for copies, I love making copies, its so fast, just put the paper you want and then press copy and start, choose the color type (black/white or in color) and its all ready. Its a very fast, it doesn't take long to set up, very straight forward step by step easy set up, and does not make much noise when working, so its quick and effecient printer! I'm glad I have it! :)

Iwrite resumes for a fee, I must produce ten clean copies for each customer.  I use my printer often and the quality of the print is of primary importance.  I searched for a couple of weeks, visiting stores and asking questions about the various printers for sale.  I completed three online searches comparing  prices, styles and capabilities of each printer on displayed.  Comparision shopping isi a good way to identify the printers which will meet your needs and price point.  It is a scanner, copier, fax and printer, what more could you ask for all at a fonominal price.  It comes with a one  year warranty which is great.  I have heard that customer service is good too.  18 color pages per minute in draft and 3 pages per minute in normal, In the normal mode you get 15 black and white per minute, this sold me.  The envelope sizes vary this was helpful too.  Pic bridge capability was a winner addition.

I had received my Lexmark all-in-one for christmas and was hesitant about using it but, once it was installed and I had learned how to use each function and needed each function for a different purpose I was really impressed how Lexmark had done the job. The copying function of the copier is great with a precise and clear picture and also the ability to clear up any mishaps in the picture you are copying which is great. The fax machine has come in handy more than enough times for forwarding important papers onto different companies and people. The printing ability is great and the speed at which the printing is done is really good. The lexmark has made a really good all-in-one printer with this model.

When I purchased a Lexmark X3650 All in one Color Inkjet Printer, I began by shopping around and comparing color laser printers, yet ended my day by purchasing this one. Little did I know that it contains a feature I thought I would be purchasing as software for my computer; PDF creator! What a discovery when I got home and installed the printer to find I wasn't going to have to buy additional computer software! I can scan a document or photo and save it to my computer as a PDF, or take already saved photos or documents and convert them to a PDF. An excellent feature for people conducting business over the internet, teachers, or those who share any type of files with others. The quality of the color printing is great (not the same as a laser printer of course - yet wonderful for an inkjet). It can print 25 pages per minute in black and 18 pages per minute in color. You can also print directly from your digital camera memory stick and has borderless printing at 4800 by 1200 dots per inch. The printer came with a USB cable connector and I connect to the front of the printer though there is also a port on the back.

The lexmarkx3650 is so much easier to use.  The instructions are very easy to read and it uses word that you can understand.  It prints beautifully and the color pictures come out very clear and not fuzzy.

I have owned my Lexmark printer for 2 years and I haven't had any problems with it. The warranty is for 1 year and most people know, that once the warranty runs out so does the product. The price of ink is reasonable to me, so with that in mind I would definitely buy a Lexmark when this printer does finally go out.

I bought this printer about two months ago.  The paper kept jamming.  The company just recently sent me a replacement and it also appears to be having the start of the same problem.  It is not meant for a lot of printing, like some models are.  It was fairly reasonable and the customer service has been really good so far though.
