My husband and I purchased our Lexmark 6100 series all in one printer about 5 years ago. It has served us very well and is still in decent condition because we do not allow the children to use it. I enjoy the scanning functions and the print quality is almost as good as professional pictures if set to the highest level. My 2 complaints are that they no longer sell this model so there are no local stores that stock the ink cartridges. This proves to be a problem as we now have to order all ink online and hope we dont run out in mid "project". Another issue that I have is that sometimes the printer will not pull the paper through correctly. We are constantly having to clean out various paper jams and loosing paper because of this. The ink is also very expensive when you are able to locate it. So, in conclusion, the printer was great when we got it some aspects are still very good but for the life of the ink cartridge and the price it is cheaper to purchase another printer at this point.
