They run big, so you can wear a small size making you feel good.

I recommend Levi Strauss Signiture jeans. They are sized so that you can wear one or two sizes smller than you would normally. We all know how great it makes us feel when we say we fit into a size three. I buy them from Lerner's on sale for about $24.00. They are low waisted and come in different leg styles. They are great for those of us with thin legs as this helps give them some shape. They wash well and do not shrink after the first wash.

These jeans are great if you like reliable, steady clothes. I have been buying them for myself and for my family for years now, and the same styles still are available. I can get most pairs for $15-30 at a department store basement type place (ie, ross, filenes basement, rack, etc), and I know that a 32x32 527 will be the same pair of pants now as it was 20 years ago, so I don't even have to try it on or bring in my family to try them on. I can just buy it and go. They're great and simple and clean, but also convenient that they're so easily replacable.

Quality jeans for the guy who is tough....even on his clothes.

needing a makeover

My son is a skateboarder & very tough on his clothes, pants, & shoes. Levis 527 have been tried. They hold up even when he falls down. Excellent quality. Tight stitching helps prevents tears along seams. Best of all they are stylish enough that he likes wearing them.
