Leo Pilak Photography - - Milwaukee, WI Review

When we sat down with Leo Pilak we had already spoken to several other photographers and they just didn't leave us feeling good about what we wanted.  When we first met Leo we felt right at ease and relaxed.  Leo asked us what we wanted and what was important to us and then actually customized a program for us.  We did kinda feel a little weird when he told us if we decided that night wwe would get some reprints for free and of course with most sales as we waited the deal lessened.  But after talking to my other half we felt it was a fair way to do business and if we decided then we wouldn't have to worry about a photographer anymore.  We choose yes and we were so glad we did.  Leo did everything he said he would do from showing up on time (he was actually there early) at the ceremony to helping us both stay at ease with the pre-wedding jitters, taking some wonderful photos and capturing our wedding with images we cherish.  He was fun, upbeat, slightly silly and yet was able to direct people during the "posed picture" time with grace and firmness without making people feel uncomfortable.  Once we stopped at the park it was just so relaxed and easy going and he just snapped away with a truly off-handed way about him capturing moments that were unscripted, just random moments in time just like he said he does. (this is true photojournalism folks)  He then pretty much disappeared into the background at the reception and just caputred everything we wanted.  Some of our proofs were even online within 12 hours of the end of our reception!!!  The rest were done within a couple days!!  WOW!!  We hadn't expected to see them for a week or two but he really delivered.  We would recommend Leo Pilak Photography and his staff to anyone who is serious about getting a great photograher, someone who will capture those moments and do what he says for a very decent price.  Definitely the best!!
