The efficient operation system, although I'm not a fan of Windows 8. Also, computer heats up way too fast, such as after 30 minutes. Maybe someone can get burned. Ease of use comfortable and light battery life very quick death, you need to deliver consistently in support and service did not use this service after the speed / very fast and efficient performance of the lightweight design

This unit runs on Windows 8 which takes some getting used to. In fact, compared to my Dell it took a lot of getting used to. There are a lot of features that are very time saving, like automatically remembering passwords, etc, but sometimes navigating around the system is very difficult. It requires a lot of attention, like updates and restarts to keep it's performance high.
Ease of Use
Once you get used to it, it is easy to use, but I found the learning curve very high. I use the mouse exclusively and had to disable the middle unit as it messed me up losing documents, and other things. It was very frustrating at first.
Battery Life
The battery life is reasonable. It lasts about 3 hours and then starts to fade. I was hoping for something that would last longer.
Support & Service
Excellent support. They are always coming up with updates. I have never had to service the unit so I can't speak on that.
Speed/Performance
This unit is fast. Performance is excellent as long as you keep it updated.
Design
I like the look of the unit which is why I bought it. It has a 17" monitor so it is great for viewing.
Durability
This unit is very durable. We have taken it on trips to Mexico, etc., and there isn't a mark on it.

The Lenovo X61, and X61T ThinkPads are amazing laptops for their age. these laptops are also tablets and come with a stylus. The screen on the X61 can be replaced with a "Touch Screen" (pressure sensing) that works very well. Here are some of the features you will notice right off the batt:
A very sleek, and clean design
3 USB ports
VGA out
Audio output jack
Audio input jack
and a SD card slot
Here are some of the features that are "Under the hood":
Fingerprint reader
2 Power buttons
1 Four-way navigation button
A compacted keyboard
intel Centrino pro CPU
And comes with Windows Vista Basic inside.
This Laptop/Tablet is also capable of 'Hardware Visualization' meaning that you can run a virtual machine (like Mac OS X, Linux, or other versions of windows) on it.
Now to the tablet past of this computer. When the screen is flipped all the way back, and is rotated 180* to the right, you will see that your every day laptop has a cool twist. The tablet can be interacted with by using the provided stylus, or touch (if equipped with the proper screen).
This is a very good laptop and I HIGHLY recommend it for all users.
NOTE: This laptop can run the latest version of Windows without performance issues.
Ease of Use
The 'Ease of Use' really depends on what operating system the computer has loaded on it.
Battery Life
Surprisingly good for a Lenovo device.
Support & Service
The drivers etc. aren't being developed much anymore
Speed/Performance
Best with a couple more gb of ram.
Design
Pretty good, except for the battery sticking out the back and no CD Rom drive. (CD Rom drive can be used when you use it's docking station.)
Durability
Very stable. Only that the top of the computer is very susceptible to stains.

the computer that is the best kind of basic!

We have had the best luck with lenovo computers. They arent flashy or cocky in anyway which to me says alot about the brand because they know they have a good product. My only issue is that the fan on a previous lenovo had a problem of overheating to quickly. But we still buy this brand because we know they work!
Ease of Use
For the options we have in todays world of technolgy i think this is the easiest to use of most computers and laptops or ipads, notebooks out their. It has the feeling of this is what i've been used to for the past 10 years (i am 24). I feel like we have to relearn how to use computers but with this I feel comfortable!
Battery Life
I love the long battery life I get with this and its easy to find power saver options!
Support & Service
I havent had any problem with this so far and so i dont have to much of an opinion on this.
Speed/Performance
I have seen faster computers but faster isnt always better. This one is fast but I dont feel like im waiting or like im trying to keep up with it.
Design
Its clean, simple, non flashy and I love that!
Durability
It is much lighter than most for its size which it nice and it seem as durable if not more than other brands ive seen because they try to make theirs seem flashy and cool looking and dont take into consideration the quality.

Lenovo Thinkpad Edge
5
Great product. I especially enjoy the chiclet style keyboard. It is a little difficult to clean but that is not a problem. After extended use the grate in front of the fan broke off, probably personal fault though seeing as I had not been using a proper case. It is a bit heavy for carrying around but definitely not enough to be a deterrent from carrying it to class or work. I also like that these computers are compatible with other operating systems such as Linux.
Battery Life
Battery life is average for a computer with this power levels. Customizable features also make it much more power efficient and I can get up to 4 hours of continuous use on battery power alone if I am careful.
Support & Service
I have never had to use tech support with this machine.
Speed/Performance
Good speed, can be slower than I would prefer but that is easily remedied.
Design
Looks a bit clunky as the entire Thinkpad line does. Not as sleek and pretty as the Ideapad but does the job in a utilitarian way.
Durability
Other than the breaking of the fan grate the plastic has been very durable. Keys and mouse pad have developed a shine though from over a year of use.

Overheats too easily

Efficient OS although I am not a fan of Windows 8. Also, the computer overheats way too fast like after 30 minutes. Someone could probably get burned.
Ease of Use
Convenient and light
Battery Life
Dies extremely fast, needs to be constantly plugged in
Support & Service
Have not used this service yet
Speed/Performance
Very fast and efficient
Design
Lightweight and compact
Durability
Well I haven't dropped it yet so I can't really say

I received this laptop as a gift...not sure if I would spend money on one though.
Pros - smaller in size than many laptops so easy to hold in lap or carry, opens and closes easily, and seems durable.....
Cons - smaller in size so more awkward to type (you may get used to it if you use it all the time), mouse pad in the middle of the bottom section which was awkward for me to use as well, and I greatly missed having a number pad.
This laptop would be a great buy for a teen perhaps or for someone who needs a mobile computer but doesn't use it a great amount.
Support & Service
not sure really, have never used it

Worst computer brand and product ever
1
By far I am not happy switching from Compaq to Lenovo. Lenovo is the worst brand for computer, they do not know how to make a good computers or laptops. I bought N500 and not for 3 months it already has multiple issues such as, the lenovo face feature was not working properly, computer shut down itself, super slow to download something and run out of space quickly. I tried to ask for help to Lenovo care center and they didn't even care to fix it, I tried to claim my warranty and they denied it. Truly dissatisfaction for customer service as well as the product.

It is fast. Every function you want is available if you pay more. The only thing inconveniences me is that the memory space is set up already. Buying product from Lenovo cannot ask for the customized memory setting.

GREAT Laptop!

For years, I was one of the people who thought laptops could NOT be "as good" as desktop computers. They couldn't contain as much memory, etc. This Lenovo laptop certainly changed my opinion. My husband and I returned home the end of September from a 4,2000-mile road trip and our laptop did all we could have asked from it. We were even able to play a few games (when we had a few minutes "free time" on it). I was able to keep up with emails and surveys that I take for money; my husband was able to conduct a little business using the laptop. It performed splendidly...although we DID plug it in most of the time to conserve the battery.
Ease of Use
We purchased a little mouse to go with the laptop. I was able to master the "finger" cursor at the bottom of the keyboard--my husband was not. Even his wide fingers fit on the keys beautifully so he didn't have a row of "e"s across the screen!
Battery Life
While we usually plugged in the laptop, there were times when electrical current just wasn't available. The battery held up magnificently, however we re-charged every night just to be sure.
Support & Service
Didn't need to call.
Speed/Performance
The speed was just as fast as on our desktop computers.
Design
The keys were large enough so even my husband's large fingers fit! For me, the keys sat a bit far back on the keyboard, but I quickly adapted.
Durability
So far, so good...
