Yes, I would recommend this to a friend, if that friend was not a power computer user. This is more for the casual user of computers/tablets. I would also recommend this product to someone looking for a convertible ultra-book at a reasonable price. It seems to have a slower than I would like response time. However the display is very nice which, for me, compensates for the slower response times. The apps I am using all run smoothly with no major problems. Also, this unit is not too heavy to carry around. The tablet sits nicely in the keyboard, and the fixed angle is fine. However, they need to do some improvement to the keyboard, in my opinion. Does not function as well as I am use to when compared to other keyboards. All-in-all, this would be a good, but not great buy. I am not sorry that I purchased it and hope to use it for many years.

I really wanted to love the Lenovo IdeaTab Miix 2 Tablet, but there is a major flaw in the design, which makes it an accident waiting to happen. The screen is very responsive and only takes one attempt to recognize commands. The flash memory is beyond fast and I was blown away instantly by the the boot time. It takes 3 seconds for this tablet to boot up and reach the home screen with all the apps fully loaded. I wasn't impressed with the battery life, but I can make it through the day with only charging it once. Also it only takes about an hour to fully charge this tablet. The main reason why I don't like this tablet and keyboard combination because it's unstable. The table just sits in a slot on the keyboard held by weak magnets. While typing I found that the tablet would move and disconnect from the keyboard causing it to take several seconds to reconnect. Also when I tried to lock the tablet and keyboard into the clam position it would easily slide out causing me to quickly catch it from falling. I definitely wouldn't recommend the Lenovo IdeaTab Miix 2 Tablet because of it's average battery life, poor keyboard connection, and weak magnetic hold.
