Lenovo markets the 3000 Series Notebook computer as a budget portable aimed at home users. But, our community has mixed feeling about the 15” widescreen display; Intel Celeron processor fitted 3000 Series Notebook. While one reviewer hailed it as “I have to admit that the Lenovo 3000 N100 has been the best one I have owned,” but another complained that the laptop lacked sufficient memory to run Windows Vista. The 3000 Series Notebook, starts at $599.99 is fitted with an 80GB HHD, 256MB of Ram and is a fitting companion for the home/small business user. There are thousands of laptops to choose from. I have owned a few before, and I have to admit that the Lenovo 3000 N100 has been the best one I have owned. Let's start with the pros.

I got my laptop at the end of May and by the middle of the summer it was already showing different tecdhnical problems.  I often have to restart because the keyboard locks up or it will not connect to the internet.  I do like some of the featurs it offers like the eye verification when logging on. ...

Not enough memory to support Windows Vista
PC-User, willing to pay for quality, practical, appreciative of good service

Got this laptop as a gift but it was very very slow and I was advised that it was loaded with a bunch of unnecessary programs because it had windows vista. I took it to computer shak to have it purged but was advised that they should never have tried to put windows vista on it with only 512 mb of memory had to have memory doubled @ $500.00 to get the speed up to a tolerable rate.
