We found the hotel comfortable and completely outfitted. It was roomy and had an incredible view, unobstructed from our lanai. We looked out on manicured lawn, palm trees, ocean and west mauai. The beachfront is not very useable but we found delightful beaches only minutes away. It was quiet and kind of tucked away so we did not hear traffic. The decor was hawaiian and very pretty and friendly. We loved the spacious rooms and closets. They even had sand chairs for the beach. We definitly would go again and plan to bring our extended families.Shopping: Short Drive, It was about 5 minutes from…

Leinaala Condominiums are like a home away from home. The only difference are that it is probably smaller than your home, and there are so many things to do on Maui that you don't want to spend much time indoors anyway. We enjoyed the balcony, comfortable bedroom, decent bathroom, and well appointed kitchen. The living room had a hide-a-bed, cable tv, and you could pay for cable internet usage. We didn't really watch TV and didn't feel like using the internet with all the beaches, snorkeling, and Hana drive. Many shops and restaurants are located nearby in Kihei or Wailea.Dining: Short…

Condo owners left many nice homey items, i.e., VCRs, maps and guides, info on laptop connectivity, many notes on use of microwave, etc., left-over spices and dry condiments, extra sheets, and location was great...behind another condo for quiet street noise, and unobstructed view of ocean. Only negative was the entrance to the condo...difficult to find due to low placement of the sign. Recreational Attactions: Not Applicable, If you like beachcombing, you are only a few feet away...cross lovely grassy area under many palm trees and enjoy the Pacific. All units face the ocean and a…

The Leinaala was a fantastic place to stay!! Our room was immaculate, well stocked, quiet, convenient and comfortable. The view from the lanai was incredible! This was the best room value we ever had. (We had a late check-in, that went just as they said it would, with no problems). It was everything we had hoped it would be!! We would stay there again, as well as recommend to anyone looking for a great condo, for a great price!Recreational Attactions: Short Drive, Is close enough to several beaches, as well as a central location for all island activities. —…

Our stay at the Leinaala was comfortable, the location was great, easy access in and out, loved the view of the ocean! Enjoyed the ceiling fans, did'nt even use the air conditioner. Sofa sleeper could have been more comfortable. But I would recommend to others and would also come back and stay another time. Shopping: Short Drive, Food store very close by. Also it's an Island, everything is close! The beach was not good for swimming cause of all the seaweed, but many other good beaches around! —…

The Lady running the place was the best. We paid extra for a hide-a-way bed when in fact it was the sofa that converted into a bed. In the bedroom there was no aircondioner, there was a swamp cooler. We hadto empty the bucket in it every day and that was a pain. There was no beach to speak of. It was always full of seaweed and a buldozier was always working each day along the whole streach of beach around and including our Condo.Recreational Attactions: Not Applicable, —…

The Leinaala is very conveniently located in Kihe. It is out of the main stream resort area and quiet. The condo is very clean, well-supplied, air-conditioned, and has the best sunsets and moon rises! Sandy is on site and very helpful. We would recommend it to everyone and in fact have. We plan on returning for Humpbacks in March.Recreational Attactions: Short Drive, Beaches, the aquarium, good food —…

This is an ocean front building. The sunset view from the balcony or even from inside the room is breath-taking. Room size is good for 3-4 adults, facility condition is on the upper side. Cons: beach and sea quality is poor in this area,. if you are looking for a place where premium sand and seawater is only with a stone-throw distance, go further…

Reviews of Leinaala - Kihei, HI
| Leinaala is a smaller condominium resort that's big on features. This is a place where the tradition of the aloha spirit dwells and guests will always feel welcome as they enjoy the intimate, friendly atmosphere. Kihei's sunny shoreline is the setting for Leinaala. Only twenty minutes drive from Kahului Airport, this oceanfront property is convenient to shopping, banks and a post office. Also in the area are fine restaurants and championship-caliber golf. Each of the condominium units enjoys stunning views of the Pacific Ocean and the West Maui Mountains. The modern conveniences are here, from air-conditioning, to cable television, to fully appointed kitchens. Leinaala offers many recreational opportunities: swimming in the pool, tennis, fishing, windsurfing, beach combing, and seasonal whale watching. Or, some guest just prefer to relax on the lanai, entertained by another impressive Maui sunset as seen from their piece of paradise. **Minimum 4-night stay is required or a cleaning fee will be needed at check-out** |
