After having purchased many Legos, I went to a Lego store and was amazed to see the "wall of Legos," which you can purchase by the bucket full. For a flat fee (around $12), you can fill your bucket from a colorful array of various pieces (many shapes, sizes and colors.) My son spends hours putting together spaceships, cars, trucks, etc., and has truly mastered his fine motor skills by using these little pieces. Now he has moved on to working with the Lego kits, which are also inexpensive, and of course, needs assitance, but he so enjoys them and never seems to tire of them. We have been playing... review »

Legos have been around for such a long time.  I remember playing with them when I was little.  It's such a fun way to get your child to use their imagination and creativity.  There is just so much they can do with them!  The possibilities are endless!

There are Legos for all price ranges too.  You can purchase small sets, that would make great Stocking Stuffers, for less than $ 5.00!  These sets include, but aren't limited to:

  • Firefighter Set
  • Doctor & Patient Set
  • Builder Set
  • Mini Construction Set
  • Sports Car Sets

For a price of $ 20.00 or less, there are bigger, better sets with more pieces.

  • Prisoner...

Both of my twins love Lego Star Wars for the Wii.  One of my twins loves anything Lego's.  When D gets bored, he dumps all his Lego's in a box and I can hear him digging through the pieces for hours.  He says that half the fun in playing with Legos is finding the right pieces to build with.  My twins only 11 years old, but this is one toy that they have played with since birth.  It's a good, safe, non-electronic toy.  And it doesn't use batteries!!  I purchased the Lego's Brickmaster for him, and he knows every other month a new set comes in the mail.  It's something for him to look forward... review »

Legos are the best toy ever made. My son has literally thousands of pieces in a box and he will spend hours building his own designs. He has gotten at least one lego set every christmas and every birthday since he was 5. I look forward to sitting at the kitchen table with him every christmas morning building something. These plastic blocks are indestructible and have given my son and I years of pleasure!

What can I say?  LEGOS have rocked and they continue to rock the imagination and the passion of our young and old alike!  From the very simple to the complex, legos mimick the very building blocks of life to put together something larger than the sums of its parts.

I LOVE Leggos! They have great ideas for kids, and yet children can use their imagination! I would buy a lot more but I find the older the child gets, the more expensive they're getting. Still value them and would recommend them to anyone, but especially to parents who have ADHD kids!

My kids LOVE legos. Talk about keeping kids entertained.  I can bring them anywhere. I keep a stash in a 1 gallon zip lock bag in the car, for those spontaneous "I'm bored" moments. I couldn't live without them. Plus it allows thier creativity to explode.

Legos building blocks have been around for a really long time. As I child I remember playing with them and my brother loved the sets. For me, I just liked building with the blocks, no sets at all, I liked finding out what I could do with the Lego Blocks all by myself without instructions.

Now there are all kinds of Lego's available plenty to entertain children from preschool to well into elementary school. Lego Block sets as well as specially designed sets with instructions on how to create anything from a space station to fairytale castles.  Lego's are no longer thought to be mostly for boys...

Legos are really a wonderful legendary toy for children in general. I have three children - two of which are boys who are 11 and 3.  My oldest son was diagnosed with autisum and ADHD when he was a young child.  Although most people would not be able to tell he was autistic by meeting him, I can see his odd behaviors.  My youngest son was diagnosed with ADHD a little less then a year ago.  For children that fit into these categories, Legos is a great toy for these children.

I have bought so many Legos for my children I can't even begin to guess how many I have purchased. ...

I am a forty five year old mother of two.  I am a single mom, who needed good quality low priced toys that could keep my boys attention.  They were a great source of fun and creativity for my boys in their youth and preteens.  I did not expect them to fall in love with them all over again when they reached adulthood.  The larger more intriguing sets have got them going all over again.  They are better than plastic models that require messy smelly glue, paint, sand paper.  I would recommend this product to any parent who is willing to sit and construct with your child and toddler.  The small...

I have always bought Legos in the box by theme.  I recently went into a toy store and saw the wall of Legos.  What a great way to buy them.  I purchased a bucket for about twelve dollars and filled it up with random legos.  They are just the basic type, but I think they are the best for the value.  There are so many things that can be built with the loose legos.  My nephew loves them.  I think that it makes them more creative because they don't have a picture on a box to build.  It is all their own creation and imagination that they have to use.  I am surprised how many creative items...

LEGGO brand are the best for building hand eye coordination.  My kids had LEGGO's when they were little - in the 1970's .  I still have those original sets of LEGGO yet.  We have added to them over the years.  The old ones still snap into the new ones.  This LEGGO COMPANY has not pulled tricks on parents to get them to purchase new.  I love the LEGGO CHARACTERS.  The little people snap onto the LEGGO blocks and little towns are started.  Amagination runs wild, and little minds are active.  Colors of the LEGGO blocks is great too.  They help kids learn the primary colors.  They can also...
