I have just finished reading the whole series of "Left Behind" by Tim LaHaye.   This series is the most amazing books I have every read.  Even though this is a fiction series it is based on the word of GOD.  There are Bible verses throughout every book that goes along with what is happening in the story. It starts with the "Rapture" then goes thru the "Tribulation".  Then the return of GOD is so amazing you will feel like you are there.  Eveything God has foretold in the Bible comes to life in these stories.  It is so sad that these things will really happen in the end times.  They will keep you wanting to read until you have read all of them.  The story will keep you mesmerized.  You will cry, be angry, be sad, be happy and anything in between.  You will never see your life the same again.

I read all the "Left Behind" books a few years ago. I couldn't put the books down. I finished the next to the last book right when the last book was released. Just in time!! I loved that these books had Bible verses in them. I also enjoyed the Left Behind movies. However, I think the books were much better. I love reading Christian novels/stories. I'm re-reading the Daily Bible (chronologically) right now in my spare time. Thanks for the review! =D ~Krista Lynn

the movie is great but the book is so much more. If your a reader and you like christian stories you will not be able to put it down. My mom has all of them (I can't remember exactly how many there are} and I couldn't get the next one fast enough. I was so into them it felt like all of it was happening to me. What was so great to me is that they have the Bible verses in the stories so you can look them up also. I no it is written as fiction but there is so much truth in them. My mom just read "The Shack" and she loved it. Guess its my turn.

I have the first Left Behind movie. I loved Kirk Cameron in "Growing Pains" and once he made his profession of faith he has really taken a stand for the Lord. I have never read any of the books but my friends have and they rave about them. I read "The Shack" during Labor Day and someone told me that if I enjoyed that I would enjoy The Left Behind books. Glad to have you at Viewpoints. ~Gigi
