Lee Roy Selmon was a star on the football field, and he's an asset to our community and an expert when it comes to good down home cookin'.
The portions at Selmon's are hearty, the prices are extremely reasonable, the food is mouthwatering and the atmosphere is a mixture of sports and jazz. What more could you ask for?
My husband and I eat at Lee Roy Selmon's quite often, and we've never been disappointed. Our favorite dish is Twisted Southern Chicken..it's the strangest blend of wonderful you'll ever eat - I guarantee it. If you live in the Tampa Bay area, give Selmon's a try. You'll be glad...
review »Lee Roy Selmon's has rapidly become our favorite restaurant. I frequesntly receive gift cards for "Outback", which used to be my favorite place to eat on a budget, but have recently discovered Lee Roy's, and their food is incredibly good! My favorite dishes are Honey glazed salmon and mile high pulled pork sandwich.
I've always had quick service, but they don't try to puch you out the door either, even when they're busy. I have been to Lee Roy Selmon's several times in the past few months, and have never once had a bad experience. And, they have they sports channels playing too! :o)...
review »I love love love this place! I have yet to have a menu item that wasn't good. The service is always good and the food is just plain WONDERFUL! I highly recommend this restuarant to anyone that hasn't tried it. The food is homestyle but upscale. My favorite entree on the menu has to be the beef brisket. It's tender and tasty. I usually have tons left over to make a sandwich with it the next day. Their appetizers are different and just great. Try the pulled pork nachoes!
Lee Roy Selmon's is a great restaurant!! We live about 20 minutes away and it is worth the drive every time. The service has always been good and the foos is consistant. It has a great selection and my kids love it too.
We generally have appitizers when we are there. We have yet to order a real meal b/c we are addicted to their BBQ chicken quesadillas and their wings- both have a dipping sauce to die for :).
Next time I go without the kids, I'm going to have to try the drink that smokes :)
Whenever my sister comes to town, we always try to get to Lee Roy Selmon's for lunch. A favorite place and the food is awesome!!
Lee Roy Selmon's was one of the worst places I've ever eaten at. The food is too greasy. The choose of food is only southern fried and soggy food. I felt as if the food was taken out of a can. The ribs were dry and had left a bad taste in your mouth. The server was horrible, not concerned if you liked it or if you cared to get anything else. I do not know why someone would choose to eat there unless you do not care if you eat out of can. It was not where I would take anyone to. But on the other hand my girlfriend likes this kind of food, even though we are both from up north. I myself would...
