My baby is 6 months old, this week... she has been latching on worse and worse! I barely ever give her a bottle and when I do it's water, just for her to play with after she eats some cereal or something...
So I got this bottle because I thought she would get less air and MAYBE it would help with her latching on a little better.
She played with it at first, bit it a lot (she's toothless, still) but after a bit, she seemed to like drinking from it! Usually she takes the water in and shoots it out, but she seemed to really like drinking from it!
Lo and behold, when we nursed, she did start to...
read full review »THe breastflow bottles are great for those times when you are just not able to breastfeed. i use them only on occasion but my 10 month old has had no problem (since he was 2 months old) drinking from these when i was not able to nurse him.
only downside i have found was that if you forget to squeeze the milk back down into the bottle before you twist off teh cap, you will have a mess all over your hands!
easy to clean- i throw in teh diswasher.
price is worth the product you recieve!
I exclusively breastfed my first two children, but need to supplement for medical reasons this time and found these in an ad online.
They are the best!!
I had used Avent and liked them alot, but these have a two part nipple design and the flow is slower and the outer nipple much softer, so more like breastfeeding.
I got mine at Target. They are no more expensive than other bottles.
