The Incredibles 2nd Grade Multi-Subject

I chose The Incredibles 2nd grade Multi-Subject interactive book and cartridge to go with our Leap Pad Plus Microphone because of the educational value.  Months later I notice that it seems to be one of the kid's favorites which means it must also be fun.

This LeapPad interactive book and cartridge has educational games that include Mr. Incredible, Elastagirl, Dash, Violet, Jack-Jack, Syndrome and Edna, characters from the Disney-Pixar movie, The Incredibles.  The Incredibles 2nd grade book and cartridge work on four of the Leap Frog games: LeapPad, Leap PadPlus Writing, Quantum Leap Pad and Leap Pad Plus Microphone.  It does not work on the latest Leapster or the My First Leap Pad.

The Incredibles 2nd grade multi-subject reinforces vocabulary, synonyms, syllables, place value, geometry, reading comprehension, parts of speech, calendar skills and fossils.

Kids can use the stylus to follow along with the story or play one of two games on each page.  My kids favorite is page that looks like a board game.  Kids use addition and identify homonyms to move around the board while getting encouragement from Elastagirl.

My Viewpoint:  The Incredibles was one of my kids favorite movies and Leap Frog has done a great job of creating a fun and educational game that reinforces 2nd grade skills and concepts.
