When I shop for learning toys I shop for leapfrog

5

When we got my son his first leap frog toy it was a hand me down. But even after already being loved by another child it worked perfectly. We started looking for the brand everytime we went to flea markets. These toys last forever! I found a lot of them at flea markets in perfect condition even after being used. My kids can be ruff with things but everyone of the leap frog toys we have have lasted through it all even with some of them being hand me downs/ pre owned. Iv never yet had to throw one away. My son also has a lot of trouble learning. Keeping his attention is very hard and these products are exactly what he needed and I will definitely keep buying.

I love leap frog brand toys. They are great learning tools. Everything I've bought has been loved by my kids. We have gotten assorted baby toys, toddler toys, and recently a leap band. I can't recommend them enough. A lot of children's toys aren't about learning but all of leap frog brand toys are all about learning. I have never had anything break or not work correctly which is amazing. My kids love their leap band and they use it daily. I love that it gets them up and moving too. They incorporate shapes, colors, counting, and even exercise into a toy the kids actually want to play with. I will continue to buy leap frog toys and I know I'll always be happy with them. they are worth the money and they make the kids happy.

One of my daughter's favorite toys since the age of one.

All of the LeapFrog products have been amazing. We purchased our first LeapFrog product, the LeapPad, for our daughter when she was approximately one year old. We have now progressed to the LeapFrog Reading System which she still loves. This year, in first grade, my daughter is able to read at the third grade level and I believe that the LeapFrog is a lot of the reason why. Even though both of her parents have read to her since she was a baby, she would sit for hours with the LeapPad and LeapFrog. Both of these products have made it possible for her to learn to enjoy reading and the variety of books that they have for the system helps because it is all on topics that she enjoys. I believe that she would not be nearly as good at reading as she is had it not been for the LeapFrog products.

Tag Jr. is wonderful teaching tool

I won this system from my mommy's website not too long ago. It is great fun to enjoy with your child, a good bonding piece. It allows you to program their name, so when you turn it on it will them, or when they turn it off it say their name once more. Very cool and unique. Love it, and so does my daughter!

Samantha loves her LeapFrog - the one and only toy she plays with daily - part of her morning routine - rather than cartoons on PBS - she plays with her LeapFrog - learning colors, shapes, sorting & the list goes on.

LeapFrog is one of my favorite companies!

LeapFrog does such a great job at providing families with good quality, educational, yet entertaining toys. We have quite the collection of LeapFrog toys around our house. I actually just purchased toys that I liked and only later realized that many of them were Leap Frog toys. We always try to choose toys that are educational, because there are so many fun ones out there, so you might as well help your child learn while they are playing. Plus, this instills in them a love of learning. My two-year-old son has Scout the talking puppy, who teaches all kinds of basics and sings songs. He also has the Tag, Jr., which he enjoys. With this, he can click on any one of the various books and hear the words or play games. I actually prefer the older My LeapPad better, which he also has (from a consignment sale). This includes a "pen" and more games, however, you can't track their progress like you can with the newer Tag, Jr. or Tag. Soon I will be moving him up to the Tag system, because I think he is getting too advanced for the Jr. system. These toys are great, though, for teaching kids while still having lots of fun!

5 Stars for the Tag Jr.

5

My 2 year old received a Tag Jr. Reading System for Christmas and he loves to hear his books talk and "come to life".  What a great learning toy.  The books for the system are mostly based on the characters that kids are into (Sesame Street, Toy Story 3, Thomas the Train, Disney Princess) which is why it is so motivating for them.  My son likes to read his books in the car, great activity for traveling.  I still like to sit with him when he does this, but he is able to do it on his own.  I think 3 years old is the most appropriate age level for this reading system.  The system is very easy to use.  I have the carrying case to make it easy to travel with, but you can use any bag for storage.   When you first set it up, it asks for your child's name and every time he turns it on is says, welcome back, ________ (puts in your child's name).  This simple personalization is what engages the child as soon as they turn it on!  It also says goodbye to them.

LeapFrog Toys

I have not found a LeapFrog toy that I don't like. I have purchased several for my daughter and she has received some as gifts. She has the LeapFrog Table, Scout dog, LapTop, Tag Junior, and others. They are all education and she is learning so much from them. My daughter loves the LeapFrog table. We will find her in her room with the table turned on spanish and she's singing the alphabet in spanish. I think thats pretty impressive since we are an English only home. To hear my two year old doing that is amazing. Her favorite LeapFrog toy is Scout. She has had Scout for a year and loves him. Scout is programable. You can add your childs name, favorite animal, color and food. He says her name and spells it out in a song. The LeapFrog toys grow with your child. I can see alot of these toys being used for many more years. They are all very durable and will probably be passed down to other kids when my daughters done with them.

Leapfrog toys are awesome

5

I believe i have made a good investment in Leapfrog, so far i got my toddler the tag jnr, tag reading system, clickstart my first computer, dvd bundle set, my own leaptop, scrbble and write and fridge magnetic word builder. I get so excited because it has the toys that has captured my son's attention. So far the best and toy we use daily is the DVD set, the tag reading system which reads both the tag jnr and tag books and the maps that teaches the kids about the states and capital cities. My own leaptop and tag jnr book pal can say your baby's name which is fun for the little ones and the leaptop your child can read or listen to an email from Mom, Dad or Aunty. The only toy that didnt get a 5 star from me was the fridge magnetic word builder which would not stick to my refrigerator and it says good job even if the word has no meaning. So i didnt find it educational, because my son can construct meaningless words and still get a good job comment. It does teach the letter sounds and the ABC song. I love the tag pen, because it can oint to a specific letter and the child can learn the sound and reach each word at a time. Though it reads the whole book instead of the child reading with it. I recommend all of the toys by leapfrog
