**The LeapFrog Rhyming Reflections Crib & Floor Mirror**  was given to us as a gift for our first baby and she is just about 3 months old now and loves it. It stimulates her in multiple ways and I would recommend it to anyone.  It makes tons of music, and the fabrics are unique.  Also, the mirror is big enough for her to enjoy it but small enough for us to bring everywhere.

Like most babies, my daughter was fascinated with her reflection in the mirror.  She squeals and shouts at her reflection and reaches to touch it thinking it's another child.  So I bought her a LeapFrog Rhyming Reflections Crib & Floor Mirror.  She loved it so much.  She would sit for hours staring at her own reflection, talking in her baby talk to it like she didn't realize it was herself she was seeing.  She also loves pushing the buttons (which are very convenient for little hands).  I like that it can be used on the floor or hung on the crib.  It's very versatile.  I even managed to attach it to the back of the car seat so she could use it when we are in the car.  This mirror comes with a very affordable pricetag.  It is very cute and colorful.  I think any baby would love it.  Another reviewer mentioned that the animals are not the correct colors, but I don't think this is an issue.  Children love the bright colors and it looks so cute.  I recommend it!

My son was about 4 months old when we took him to one of our many walmart trips. Getting lost in the baby isle, I picked up some toys I thought were cute. Out of 4, my son picked his favorite - the Leap frog floor mirrior. Later I found it was the best thing I bought for him. It did take a little while to help him figure out how to use the toy, but once he did, that toy was no match. He loved the animal sounds and he loved touching the different tabs. Everytime he would look in the mirrior he would make the cutest little giggle. The leap frog floor mirror made his floor time worth it. Before I bought the toy, I had a hard time keeping his attention and staying on the floor. (being on the floor helps built his neck muscles). I really liked the toy also becasue I can take it anywhere. It saved my mind while in the car. He could play with the toy and not cry. It made driving better and a little more enjoyable. I love this toy almost as much as my son did.

[LeapFrog Rhyming Reflections Crib & Floor Mirror][1] I received this as a hand me down from a friend whose daughter loved it and they said they new she was up in the morning when they heard the music from it playing over the monitor. I was eager to try it in my sons room and was excited that it was unisex in appearance. It never quite attached correctly to my sons bed so it ended up being a playroom toy. I felt very secure that the mirror wouldn't break, although it distorted his face more than I would like. The sounds that the tabs made were pleasant and did not drive me crazy like many of his other toys do. However I found that too much pressure was needed to make the tabs go off and one of them went out completely and does not work any more. I don't plan on saving this for my next kid but I plan on taking our the mirrow party of it and throwing away the rest. I was also not sure about how to clean this toy. What fun my son has looking at himself using this mirror. It is nice because i can take it practically anywhere that I want to. This mirror is nice because it lets my son know what he looks like and in the morning he likes to look at himself in the mirror and acts like he is talking to a person. This mirror uses batteries, but I think that the batteries last a long time. The sounds that can be made with this mirror are fun for my son to use. He sometimes gets drool on the mirror's surface, but it is very easy to wipe it clean. the mirror is surrounded by a plushy material that is soft. It is great because when my son presses the tabs on the bottom of the mirror, songs play for his enjoyment. This mirror is safe for a baby because it does not have the sharp edges that are on other mirrors. The price of this is also quite cheap and inexpensive. The bright colors on the mirror make it more fun to use too.

This is a fun little toy.  It 'teaches' colors and animal names and sounds, so it's somewhat educational. It's fun for little ones to be able to see themselves in the mirror too.  It has two sounds for each animal, and some songs if you press in the middle.  The buttons are easy for a little one to press.  They just need to plop a hand or foot on the right spot.  We used it as speakers for an mp3 player in a pinch, which is cool, but it was left on the mp3 setting so the battery ran out.  One down side of this toy is that the mirror can bend and then it gets all distorted.  It's kind of an akward shape to store, so it was used by our first son a lot, but it didn't store very well (the mirror got bent and messed up looking) so it's a lot less used by our second.   It also has a hard time standing alone.  It needs to be against a wall or tied to the crib, which I didn't really like doing.  It's a cute and fun toy.  Not vital to proper development of a child, or a parents sanity, but a fun little extra.

The Leap Frog Rhyming Reflection Crib and Floor Mirror is a good way for children, especially infants to know how they look like.  It's fun for them.  They love to look at in the mirrors.  They can touch and see that it is their own hand touching back.  This toy brings joy and lots of smiles to the children's faces.  I just love to see the children play with mirrors.  They can see how they play.  They become very excited when that happens.  Mirrors are also fun for children who are learning how to stand.  Seeing own's self standing as an emerging toddler is very exciting. The mirror keeps them busy in cribs, cars and other play areas. Cribs:  They can talk to themselves and listen to the music, as you do what you need to do. Cars:  The child is kept entertained by self and the music from the toy as well, and you can concentrate on driving; keeping your child safe. Other play areas:  such as the floor - they can see the reflection from a different angle.  The children may also pick up the mirror and change the angle of the reflection.  They can laugh and play.

That's just what it is-an accessory. It gives baby something to do that all babies love-look at themselves. It helps in muscle development of the face and hands. My daughter loves making faces at it and talking to it. I even notice her cooing to the music, which helps soothe her to sleep or laugh and smile to the more upbeat cheerful music. I have to say that the mp3 and voices put it a huge step above other such products. I love the fact that I can attatch it to her carseat on roadtrips. I sometimes wish it was more versitile, with toys to reach for or other such entertainment, but it is still worth purchasing. THe one thing I questioned-that other such toys have and this one does not-is a volume control. I want happy songs loud and lullabies soft, but I can't do that. I also wish it hooked up to all types of cribs better. I have a port a crib that I use as a crib and it's rather difficult to find a place to hook it up.

**I really liked the LeapFrog Rhyming Reflections Crib & Floor Mirror. It has cute sounds and it is very easy for the baby to push the buttons. I was not able to take full advantage of this toy becuase I do not have an mp3 player. So we did not use it to play songs and I can not give my oppinion on that aspect. I did wish that the animals them selves did something when you push on them . The only one that does is the frog, but he makes the cutest little sounds. I also wish that the colors would have been more accurate, like blue hippo, or purple elephant. I do not think we should be teaching the wrong thing, but this may be something that would not make a difference in the long run since the babys are so young that are using it. I also wish the straps would have been longer, I had trouble mounting it and getting it to keep a position that the baby could see. All in all I loved it. The mirror was great and my baby used it a lot. **

The LeapFrog Rhyming Reflections Crib and FLoor Mirror was a convinence purchsase.  By this I simply mean I was at the store with my daycare baby, as well as my Own children.  The Baby started getting fussy, and we had nothing to give him in the store.  My son (15) picked this toy up and placed it in the lap of the baby.  There  is a really neat mirror with cute songs and sounds. It waseasy for even this little 5 month old.  He would grab at the  little tails to make the animal sounds. Made the shopping trip well worth it, and the drive home.  I Haven't tried to hook up an MP3 player yet. This toy has provided several hours of laughs for this little guy and the others I've kept - the colors really keep the kids attracted to it.  Of course how can you go wrong with that big mirror - for them to see their cute little faces smiling etc. right back at them.  The only problem I had with this toy was his dad used it one time to get him home happily - and well it never came back.   I keep hearing what a great purchase this was.
