This is my 2 year olds favorite toy!! He sleeps with it (it plays nighttime music), he takes it in the car when we go somewhere. Best toy ever!! This is a buy for sure!! A very nice aspect of this toy is that it is soft and plush. There was actually a recall on the scout that was out several months ago and my son was so attached to it, that we asked for the company to send us the new one... after receiving it, we would send the old one... rather than their typical procedure of us sending them our scout and they then send us the new one. The company was very gracious about it and very quickly mailed...

This bright green puppy is sure to get your baby's attention. I purchased it from Toysrus. It is inexpensive. The puppy can do lots of different things. Its dog tag has a light that flashes. It talks and interacts with the child. It plays music. You can program it onto your computer and add your child's name, favorite color, and food. The puppy will then say those things to the child. It also has lullaby music that can be played for two, five, or ten minutes. There is also a girl version of this puppy named Violet. She is purple. She does the exact same thing. The my pal scout is a wonderful toy it really catches my almost 2 year old sons attention by saying his name i found it to be inexpensive and interesting that you can program favorite color, food, and animal into it not to mention its name when u push the goodnight button it coller turns into a night light i think this is an amazing product

I got the purple one named Violet  for my little girl and it was easy to add her name and download songs we look forward to it growing with her in the next 2 years. She loves that it barks and says her name and lights up.

We gave my son the Leapfrog My Pal Scout for his first birthday. After we got our exchanged product after the Leapfrog recall (due to the decals coming off and being choking hazards), my son does respond positively to the bright green color and pleasant voice. However, it's not significantly different from his other talking stuffed animal toys, the pre-programmed voice that says his name isn't very clear and the choices to download to the toy (music, songs, etc) are very limited. It's a good toy but not a great one. It's not one of my son's favorites or go-to toys.
