My daughter got this at her first birthday, and my son got one too. They can not hold their attention. It was way to complicated for such a young child. They do not understand what they are doing, half the time it didn't work right. Neither of my children like this toy. I would not recommend this toy for any young children. My daughter didn't start to understand it until she was 3, and by then, it was to boring for her.
