This DVD is wonderful. I like to think (actually, it's objectively true) that my kids are smarter than average, and they really picked up on the letters quickly, even after some frustrated attempts with flash cards and other more boring learning strategies. My friend's kid is actually kind of dumb, and he truly benefitted from this DVD, and the word factory one, also. They're great to watch in the car or for quiet time in the afternoon, and you can easily take some of the afternoon viewing and continue the lesson through dinner.
