The Letter Factory DVD by Leap Frog is a wonderful learning tool. After watching it periodically for a week my 23 month old can repeat sounds certain letters made when asked. She repeats things along with the DVD and is learning the ABC's as well. Tad and his friends are wonderful characters. Great images and just a wonderful DVD overall. You won't be disappointed with this purchase. Every day my daughter says, "I want Tad!"...

I love this video. It's so creative the way they help with letter association visually and musically. Through repetition and fun lyrics that kids enjoy it makes it a fun video to watch and they don't even realize they are learning!

As a parent it seems natural to want educational toys and videos for your kids, but I was skeptical of the Leapfrog Letter Factory DVD when it first came out. There didn't seem to be enough to draw my son in and make him want to keep watching -- BOY was I wrong! I heard over and over from friends about how much their kids LOVED this move, and finally I requested it from our local library. Our oldest son was hooked right away, asking for it any time he was allowed to watch a movie in the house or in the van. It, with out question, helped him to learn the letter names and their sounds. Our second son (4 years younger than his brother) is now equally enamored by this movie, and every friend I've ever recommended it to has had the same experience with their kids!

WOW! This DVD is fantastic! I wish I had known about it when my daughter was younger. I bought this for my son who has just turned 3, though, my 6 year old daughter really enjoys watching it also. She was actually having a little trouble remembering the different short vowel sounds but after watching this video she is no longer having any trouble at all!

The Letter Facotry teaches the names and sounds of all the letters and short vowels of the alphabet. It is presented in a fun and entertaining way. They actually give each letter a "personality" which matches its sound. For instance, the letter "t" tap dances while making its sound "t-t-t-t", the short vowel "a" gets frightened and screams "aaaa", the short vowel "e" is old and can't hear so says "eh". It really made so much sense to teach the letters this way. It was funny to the kids and gave them an easy way to remember the sounds.

There is a whole series of these videos that teach different skills -- math, spelling...

I bought this video, along with several others by LeapFrog, for my 2.5 year old daughter. She watched it daily and by the end of the week, she knew all of her letters and their sounds. That was 3 months ago, and now she is beginning to put sounds together and sound out words. She is obsessed with letters, and talks about letters and their sounds all day long. Thanks, LeapFrog! I'm guessing she'll be reading within a year.

My 4 year old loses interest fast on many educational programs. This Leapfrog dvd series keeps my daughter captivated and eager to learn the next letter and the sounds they make. She stays focused on the entire length of the dvd and really has fun watching them. It is really nice to see her watching them over again and learning a little more each time....

Leap Frogs Letter Factory is amazing. My kids have all watched it and all have very much benefited from the DVD. They quickly learn the jingles that help them understand letter pronunciation while having TONS of fun dancing and aching to learn more. You'll quickly learn WHY my kids love this movie and ask to watch it ALL the time....

We found this DVD on Amazon for a good price and decided to get it. I'm surprised it still works, my kids love to watch it over and over again. Even my 20 month old loves it and has learned her ABC's from it. I love how it teaches the sounds in a fun way. I would definately recommend this product. It's well worth the money. I would suggest making an extra copy in case your origional gets scratched!...

I really recommend this DVD to anyone who has a child or grandchild that is just learning the alphabet. Or.. if you have a child that is struggling with learning his/her ABC's.

The DVD has very great graphics/visuals. It is moderately paced and reivew each alphabet in a way that makes them seem real and important. The little tunes that go with each letter is very catchy. My favorite was "W" -- wa wa wa. Sorry I do get carried away with this DVD. I enjoyed watching it and most kids learning DVD's are boring to me.

The Leap Frog family has a very valuable lesson to learn on the way so there is a great moral to the whole story. What's not to like? My grandson picked it right up and away he went. He still sometimes wants to watch it again even though he has completely learned his alphabet. Way to go Leap Frog!

my kids learned the alphabet from this movie and my daughter sings the alphabet alot during the day everyday and its her favorite movie and she points to letters she sees and tells me the sounds, she asks to watch this movie all the time and she also watches 3 times a day or more. i would recommend this movie to everyone with small children and wants to teach them the alphabet, its great for teaching the letters and the sounds and its got great characters in it and it also is interactive gets them to play and sing along....

This was great for my daughter who is now reading awesomely at 7 years old. She has been reading since she was 4 and 1/2. She would sit and watch the Leap Frog characters and sing along with the songs and sound out the letters with them without even realizing that she was learning....

The Leap Frog Letter Factory DVD teaches letters and their sounds during an adventure with the fun and familiar Leap Frog learning toy characters Leap, Lily and Tad. The Leap Frog gang and the audience go on a tour of a letter factory hosted by Professor Quigley.

As a teacher and Mom, there are several reasons that I like this DVD as a teaching tool. The Leap Frog Letter Factory exposes children to both the upper and lower case letters and their sounds. It uses fun songs to teach and the sounds are repeated enough to give kids a chance to absorb it but moves on quickly enough to avoid kids getting bored.

The message is interactive and encourages movement while learning as letters are active too. Letter Ds are drumming, Js are jumping and Ks are kicking.

With so many choices of entertaining DVDs for kids today, educational DVDs really have to have to be very entertaining as well to capture......
