It cought my sons attention with all of its features. Especially the songs it sang. It sang " The wheels on the bus", three diffrent versions. My son loves that song. Plays it over and over. This product is easy for my son to hold and use. This product allows kids to learn the names of letters, letter sounds, song that combined letter names with sounds, and the abc's song. My son is now three, and still plays with...
read full review »The Leapfrog Phonics bus is a very educational and fun toy! I bought it for my 11 month old daughter and she loves it. She like the ABC song and also the small numbers which the 3 chracters sing. It also introduces the alpabets, phonics and a word example for each letter and also a small song for each alphabet. She already recognizes the characters and can differentiate the 3 frogs. She can also identify some alpahbets and can press the right alphabets. I think the toy has helped her learn very fast. However, I wish there was just a little more to the toy. It would have been nice if the bus had...
read full review »The LeapFrog Phonics Bus has wheels that you can really push it and a horn, it plays music, it teaches animal sounds (it shows leap frog and his friends in the windows of the bus and they are buttons and when you press them they say "leap frog says rib-bit rib-bit"), and it teaches phonics. My son at less than 2 made me "fix it" (put batteries in it) he took it from the closet, I had it in there thinking he was too little for it. My daughter learned a lot from it though when it came to her letters and what they sound like. I have been really impressed with LeapFrog toys they have been great...
read full review »The Leap Frog Phonics bus has been great for helping my 2 year old start to learn her letters. It has different settings that let you choose between hearing the letters with music, hearing the letters and the different sounds they make. It also comes with 3 little turtles that have seat in the bus. If you push down on the turtle it sings a song. My daughter will be 2 in a month and she is already learning her alphabet, partially from playing with this toy. She loves to take the little turtles in and out and the letters on the side of the bus are easy for her to push and figure out. I do think...
read full review »We bought the Phonic Bus for our 2 yr old daughter when she was 18 months old, she saw it at the store and my husband let her play with it and she loved it, especially because "The Wheels on the bus" is one of her favorite songs, she loves to sing it!
We liked that this toy it is educational and helps her learn her abcs, plus, it has the sounds of each letter, and the Leap Frog characters, it is educational and fun to play with. Plus, the wheels actually move, so she also uses it as a car and pretends that she is taking the frogs for a ride.
I like that this toy it is poratble and easy to carry,...
read full review »The LeapFrog Learning Phonics Bus is a great learning toy! I have a 4 year old and she got it when she was 2 and loved it! The bus not only helped her to be able to pronounce each letter of the alphabet, it had great songs that were catchy for her, and she remembered them. Even though the bus is an educational toy, it comes with the frogs, which made it more enjoyable and interesting for my daughter. She'd play with the frogs but would also have them dance to the ABC songs. Overall, this toy was effective in helping her learn the alphabet but was also just a good entertaining toy.
My son is now almost three. He has had the Phonics Bus since his first bithday. He still loves playing with it. I don't think he's done with it either. He now knows o and t which for a two year old is pretty impressive from just one toy.
It is also really easy for him to put the characters in and out of the bus. Great formotor skills and independent play.
The on and off switch are easy for him to work, as is the music playing button. This was great for developing motor skills and a sense of independent play.
I love all thing LEAP FROG....My 8 year old will even play with this with her little sister (22 months). The baby loves all the differnent things it does and she loves the little frogs that she can take out and put back in. I would recommend this to anyone. I love that it has two volume settings also. Great when you are trying to have a conversation or something and your child is wanting to play...
