LeapFrog Learning Drum —
As first time parents we bought this toy for our son when he was about 7 months old. I think we were hoping it would start teaching him the ABCs early. Instead, we have found that the Leap Frog Learning Drum will keep him very entertained at least for a short period of time. He likes the music and the lights that change as he hits the drum but really pays no attention to the actual letters. The Leap Frog Learning Drum is very sturdy and we like that it has a good volume control so that the music won't drive us all crazy as the baby plays. We are hopeful that he will keep using it and that it may become more of a learning toy as he gets older.
