I actually received this second hand, in perfect condition. It had survived a baby for two years and still looked brand new. Anyway, it is well worth the money. The legs come off and I used it for my son for tummy time before he could even sit up, and also as a lap toy for a long car ride. When he could sit up, I put the legs back on and he learned to pull himself up on it, spending many hours standing at it playing the games. He learned about object permanence with the door "where did the cheerio go?" And about cause and effect with all the fun buttons and activities. Never fear parents, the songs are NOT annoying in any way. We've had plenty of toys we've taken the batteries out, but with the practical volume control and catchy tunes, we are never bothered by this one even though it's been used the most. Now that he is 18 months old he still spends time at it and will repeat the colors after the voice. This is the only toy from his infancy that has kept his interest and I highly recomend it. It still looks brand new and is as sturdy as ever so I will definately keep it around for my next one!
