Great portable toy

buying for a preschooler, buying for a kindergardener

    keeps them quiet in the car, Portable, Electronic that teaches, Perfect for preschoolers

I bought this for my 5 year old daughter last Christmas. She enjoys it in bursts.  She also has a Gameboy and now a Nintendo DS. The LeapFrog wins for educational value.  The only negative I have found is that the screen doesn't always detect the pen. She gets frustrated when it won't work and sets it down. For having very little use on it, I am surprised to see that there is already a little problem.
