LeapFrog® Leapster® 2 Learning System- green Review

The Leapster Learning system is a great learning tool for kids.  I purchased one for my grandson when he was three to give him a headstart on learning.  Most kids enjoys the games format of leaning.  The games use familiar characters like Dora and the Star War characters to help children learn.  In addition, it encourages children to lean how to reason and create ways to win while playing the games.  As the children grow older, you can purchase additional games to challenge each age category. I have watch my grandson lean math skills by figuring out how to beat a character in the Star Wars games.  It was wonderful to see his progress.  A lot of the early leaning is repetition.  Repeating the same thing over and over until it becomes familiar.   The Leapster Learning system makes this task fun for children.  Parents do not mind the child sitting for an hour playing a game when they know that they are learning something.  Leapster has a number of systems and most of them are compatible with the various game cartridges.  If you are looking for a learning system that will help your children lean reading, math and spelling, I would strongly recommend the Leapster Leaning system.
