Simple to use!

Let's face it, today's children are way more advanced in technology than we were at their age. what better way for them to learn and play! Leapfrog has created a way to not only entertain my son with bright colors, sounds, and games he can do by himself, but each game teaches him something too! What more can you ask of a child's toy? The leapster is an awesome gift for your children. It is easy to use and will outlast their childhood!

Our little one loves her Leapster!

I was very happy when we received a Leapster from a friend of ours!  I had mentioned to her that we were thinking of getting a Leapster for our 3 year old for Christmas, and she offered to give us the one her children had outgrown.  Immediately, our daughter was captivated by the fun games and interaction!  Even as a three year old who doesn't have a lot of experience playing with computer games or video games, our daughter didn't have any problem navigating through the games.  Even if she did have problems, the games are very forgiving.  It won't mess anything up if she pushes a wrong button.  Once a game is done, then it gives her the option to play again or go to a different game.  Each game has clear instructions and the options highlight as they are presented.  There have been a few times when my daughter had trouble pushing the game cartridge in all the way.  That wasn't a problem.  There is a fun coloring game that was offered for her to play on the Leapster that didn't require a cartridge.  She likes that almost as much as some of the cartridge games.  We love the Leapster!

Excellent learning tool...even for a 2-year-old!

The Leapster was a gift to our family. It started out with my aunts godchild who just couldnt figure everything out on the game. My little girl got a hold of this thing and was doing things that we didnt even know existed! Eventually, she gave it to my 2-year-old along with the Dora game. Next thing i knew, she was singing me "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star" and "Bate, Bate, Chocolate" (which ive never heard of). Not only that she was learning about so much and painting. She absolutely loves this game!

my son got this as a birthday present for his third birthday. i never heard of it before but then again i am not to techy .. not since original nintendo! lol it was super easy to figure out. it came with two installed games.. the rabbit game with different levels and the art /painting game. he loves making different pictures. its great. you can add snow or rain ,change a picture to day or night time.. add animals that actually make noises, rockets and so on. the rabit game you can play as young as he was .. just have to be able to recognize letters or numbers. he has advanced in the leapster and is learning quite a bit from it. he also has the dora game which he loved for a while. he no longer really plays that but always go backs to play the rabbit or drawing that came with it. he turns 4 in a week so he has had it a year and its survived a toddler! thats a good thing. we got him two new games to spice it up. so we shall see how it goes!
