  I love THe LeapFrog Fridge Phonic Magenets. This is a great way to get your child to learn there abc's, I highly recommend this product. It was a great way for my 1yr old,( now 3) to learn his letters, and to itentify them. I've always have been a firm believer in teaching your child. Its the parents job to teach them before school. My girls originally got this toy as a gift.  It came with a single unit and all the Upper Case letters of the alphabet.  It was an instant hit and helped to keep the girls busy while I was preparing meals. — While shopping in the store the girls discovered that there was an expansion pack that included all of the Lower Case letters!  Of course we had to buy it.  So now we have all the Upper Case and Lower Case letters on the fridge.  Ok great in the fact that the kids can learn their letters, not so great in the fact that these things take up A LOT of room on… read full review »

This is by far one of my favorite products.  My son loves this toy and not only uses it in the kitchen on the fridge while I am working in the kitchen but will also load up the letters in a bucket and tote it all into the playroom to use it throughout the day.  He is two and a half and knows the alphabet song, recongnizes all of the letters and knows a lot of his letter sounds and I believe playing with this toy has really helped with that.  We play "alphabet soup" and randomly pick letters out of the bucket and he tells me what they are and then we put it into the letter… read full review »

I was excited to find this product and very impressed with  how well it worked.  Within 2 weeks, my 2 yr. old knew most of the letters of the alphabet.  He loves to sing, and the songs were catchy, so he quickly was singing along, learning the letters.  At first he couldn't turn on the unit himself, but soon learned.  The two volumes are nice, though I have to say I prefer the softer volume.  It was easy enough for my 2 yr. old to put the letters in the correct position, and helped him learn motor control. — I wish I had this product when my older son was a… read full review »

As an educator, I want the best for my children and I want something fun and educational for them.  I enjoy fridge phonics as a learning tool for my children.  They have fun putting the different letters in the unit and listening to the name of the letter and the sound of the letter.  they also like to hit the button that sings the alphabet song.  The repetetiveness of the letters and sounds helps my children to remember them better.  The vowels are all the same color, so they can be patterned and help with recognizing which are the vowels.  My oldest… read full review »
