Irritating

buying for a preschooler, a fan of educational toys, buying educational toys

Pros

plays music and songs, has 2 volumes, one soft one louder, teaches letter name and sound it makes, fun and educational, easy for kids to use!, fair price, kid friendly

Cons

sounds sound the same, loud, That song!

I had heard so many wonderful things about Leap Frog products and have purchased quite a few of them. Last year I purchased the refridgerator Leap frog alphabet Phonics for my little ones. I noticed that the "Z" sounded like "WUH" and after I listened to a couple of my friends, I discovered the same problem. I contacted Leap Frog only to receive a message stating that the sound box needed new batteries. After changing the batteries, it did sound better but soon sounded poorly again. Also the kids keep hitting the letter continuously making it very irritating. This product is good for learning but still needs a parent standing nearby to show the child how to form the sound correctly.
