I received this for my baby shower and thought it was going to be a long time before I would get to use it.  I was so wrong.  Once my baby, was old enough to walk around, we stuck these up on the fridge and taught her how to put the letter in.  She loved to hear it talk to her and found it quite easy to place the letters inside it on her own.

As she got older, she still played with the Fridge Phonics Magnetic Letter Set, EVERYDAY!  It's in the kitchen, on the fridge and like most homes, the kitchen is the life of our house.  Her favorite part of the toy was to push the button when it would sing the entire alphabet.  She was very young when she could recite her ABC's and  I accredit the Fridge Phonics Magnetic Letter Set for it.

When she turned 4 years old, we started using the magnetic letters to help with her letter recognition. If she couldn't tell me what a letter was, she would stick it in the holder and hear for herself what the letter was.  She now can correctly identify all the letters of the alphabet, both uppercase and lowercase, with the help of the Fridge Phonics Magnetic Letter Set. 

So she can sing her alphabet and recognize letters, time to get rid of this toy right?  Wrong!

Now, we use the letters to make "sight" words for her to learn, such as dog, cat, cow, etc.

This toy is growing with my daughter and teaching her every step of the way.

We have not had one single problem with magnets falling off, it is easy to clean and there is even volume control on the main unit.
