My son has a thing for magnets. Any house I take him to and he makes a beeline for the fridge to see the magnets. One of his little cousins has the alphabet magnets by LeapFrog and he spent 45 mins standing at the fridge playing with them. I thought this would be a great Christmas present for him. My sister in law purchaed him the Fridge Farm magnets and he loves them. It comes with a horse, sheep, pig, cow and duck. He likes sticking the animals into the barn magnet and hearing the song with the different sounds. I have noticed that he has been making the animal sounds more and more now that he has been playing with this toy. It's also great to see him developing his motor skills. At first he had some trouble putting the magnets in the barn but after a couple of trys he has gotten the hang of it. This toy is great and keeps him so engrossed that I am able to make dinner while he plays at the fridge.

I bought this toy when my daughter was 18 months.  She absolutely loved it.  She loves all the animal songs especially the silly ones when you do not match them up correctly. It didn't not take her long to learn how to match the animals and what sounds went with each animal.  She dances all around the kitchen which keeps her busy while I'm cooking dinner.  She is 2 1/2 now and she still likes to dance to the music.  This is a great toy.

The Leapfrog Fridge Farm was given to my daughter as a gift when she was about 14 months old.  She liked it right away, as did every other one of her cousins that were there!  Now, that daughter is now 3.5 years old and still enjoys playing with it, and I have a new daughter who is 8 months old and she loves it as well.  My first daughter knows all the songs and the alphabet too and sings along with it.  She knows which pieces go together, but she also knows that putting two "wrong" pieces together will result in a funny song.  I often give this as a 1st birthday present and every child has always loved it!
