The LeapFrog Baby Counting Pal is designed for 3 months to 24 months of age. It is shaped as a caterpillar and has the numbers 1-5 and has picture of animals below the numbers. It has a couple of different activities on the neck that you turn so they can play different things. It can strap to the crib to play or take along to wherever baby goes. It may be able to be strapped to a stroller as well. It is different colors with different sounds. Helps with skills in sight, hearing, touching, and feeling. It would be good for those older children learning to count even though it was designed for 3 to 24 months old. it is a plush with hard inside easy for little hands to pick up. It was designed to help children (babies) learn their numbers at a younger age and helps them with colors and different sounds. My baby loves it and plays with it many times a day. He is only 16 1/2 months old and he loves to tell you the number once he hear them named on this toy.
