Most HelpfulI got the LeapFrog Alphabet Pal as a gift, and my daughter has played with it for a couple of years. We received it when she turned one, and right away she figured out how to play the alphabet song. For the past few months, we have taken the toy in the car and we use it like flashcards. We'll ask...
review »The LeapFrog Alphabet Pal is an all around great toy. I really love the song mode on this toy, because it has a lot of older tunes that I never would have thought to teach my child if I had not heard them again (there are 26 of these great songs). This toy is a lot of fun for my child. She began using it at around 6 months and still loves it almost a year later. The feet are very easy to push and it is also very simple for my child to change the settings from phonics to music and so on. There is also a string attached and wheels on the bottom so that your kid can takeei caterpillar for a "walk". ...
review »We got the Leapfrog Alphabet Pal as a hand me down from some friends. The toy still worked great and looked in good condition. My daughter started showing interest in it around 2 years of age.
This is a wonderful toy as far as educational value is concerned. The buttons/legs teach colors, letters and letter sounds. And pulling the string causes the bug to sing the ABC's, which is very cute.
As a parent, the truth is that Alpha Bug can be annoying. He does have a switch that offers 2 volume choices, and "off" is an option on the switch with the leg choices (letters, sounds or colors), but...
review »My daughter received the Leapfrog Alphabet Catapiller for Christmas. The "feet" of the catapiller are the letters of the alphabet and different colors. She can change the settings to learn letter names, letter sounds, colors, or even so each letter will play a different music melody. She now can even put the sounds from the different letters together by pressing them in a sequence to have it make a word. Her dad and I have even enjoyed "playing" with it and trying to get it to say different words. Whoever made this is genious because it will NOT say a bad word. It just stays silent. ...
review »The alphabetpal is a wonderful toy that will have your children reciting the alphabet in no time! But don't think that the alphabet is the only thing that this toy will be teaching your child! There are several different options on this toy to play numbers, letters, and music that will keep your child on their toes. The price on this toy is unbeatable and it has an automatic turn off function which helps save battery life when the child moves onto another toy! Children will also enjoy the pull along cord as the catepillar can walk along with them. His little antenna will flash with light,...
review »I personally adore Leapfrog toys for babies and this particular alphabet friend is no exception! We recently purchased this cute little guy for our cute little girl. THe one we bought is green in color and is a little smaller but is the same toy. We got an awesome deal on it as it was on sale attarget for 17 dollars and then we had a coupon for an additional 10 dollars off. It has different functions including the alphabet and music. My daughter loves toys that light up and make sounds so naturally this one is a hit! Also it is a plus that it is super easy to operate, babies can figure it out in...
review »I found the Leapfrog Alphabet Pal a great learning toy that spans many ages. It was purchased for my son when he was less than a year old. At first, it amused him by playing the songs and letters as he randomly pressed the feet of the caterpillar. As he grew older, he used it to sing his alphabet and identify his letters. Now, even though it's supposed to have been put away for my daughter to use when she gets older, I recently found it in my 4-year old son's room as he continues to play with it.
Although it has a string for pulling it behind you, I never found that my son used this function....
review »My son loves this! So far, he's more into the songs it plays than anything, but I know it'll be a toy that stays in our toy rotation for a long time to come and I hope it'll help him learn more letters. I especially like that it tells the sound of the letter on one setting and the name of the letter on another. I have already bought one for my friend's daughter and will probably give more as Christmas gifts.
Leapfrog Alphabet Pal Caterpillar is one of the best learning tools for the toddlers..... Just press one of his 26 feet and listen as your caterpillar alphabet pal says the letter, makes the sound or says the color printed on that foot. It has four learning modes, it can teach your kids letter, names, letter sounds, color and music, and it has volume control and has a high quality sound.
the lipfrog alphabet pal is a great learning toy for kids it's also multi functional as it learn kids what are the alphabet letters, how to pronounce them, what are the colors & also lot of songs.my 2 YO kid loves it & even started to spell the alphabet before turning his second year
i recommended to every mom caring about her kids
I love this Leap Frog Alphabet pal. My kids walk around with this all day. Either singing the Alpahbet or just using the string to push him around the floor with them. He really is a pal to kids and will help them sound out words to singing songs. I love this toy. And when you don't want it on you can turn it off!
My twins love their LeapFrog Alphabet Pal and love to sing along. The little legs are easy for little fingers to push and I can't imagine a child not wanting to sing or 'say' along
