This is a fun and interactive dvd for kids and the best part is they are learning.My son was singing the songs all day and had no clue he was learning the sounds of each letter as he was singing it! I am a big believer in learning with music b/c my kids love music and my son has learned alot by music.My son has loved this movie for a couple of years now.The characters are very likable and they are very cute.I have bought most of the Leap frog dvd's and have loved every one of them!

Buying this movie was one of the best things I have ever done!!!  My daughter doesn't watch movies that often--except for this one.  She was barely singing the alphabet song when she started watching this movie.  Now she can: recognize any letter you show her (upper or lower case), tell you the sound the letter makes, and write most of them.  The movie has catchy songs, and makes the letter sounds in a way children can relate to them.  For example, the learn the sound the letter A makes by a monster coming in the room and all the A's saying "Ahhhhh".  I give this movie 5 stars!!

This is such a great teaching aid for children. Both my son and daughter have played it over and over and now my 18 month old is into it. When my oldest was in kindergarten his teacher couldn' believe he knew all of the sounds that letters make. When he told her it was from a video she contacted me and asked which video so that she could buy it for her son! I would reccommend anything LeapFrog, they are all about helping kids learn.

 My 4 year old loses interest fast on many educational programs. This Leapfrog dvd series keeps my daughter captivated and eager to learn the next letter and the sounds they make.  She stays focused on the entire length of the dvd and really has fun watching them.  It is really nice to see her watching them over again and learning a little more each time.

Leaned the alphabet in 2 weeks

I really recommend this DVD to anyone who has a child or grandchild that is just learning the alphabet.  Or.. if you have a child that is struggling with learning his/her ABC's. 

The DVD has very great graphics/visuals.  It is moderately paced and reivew each alphabet in a way that makes them seem real and important.  The little tunes that go with each letter is very catchy.  My favorite was "W" -- wa wa wa.  Sorry I do get carried away with this DVD.  I enjoyed watching it and most kids learning DVD's are boring to me.

The Leap Frog family has a very valuable lesson to learn on the way so...

As a parent it seems natural to want educational toys and videos for your kids, but I was skeptical of the Leapfrog Letter Factory DVD when it first came out.  There didn't seem to be enough to draw my son in and make him want to keep watching -- BOY was I wrong!  I heard over and over from friends about how much their kids LOVED this move, and finally I requested it from our local library.  Our oldest son was hooked right away, asking for it any time he was allowed to watch a movie in the house or in the van.  It, with out question, helped him to learn the letter names and their sounds.  Our...

The Leap Frog Letter Factory DVD was an instant hit with both my 2 1/2-year-old son and myself!  It very cleverly incorporates music, singing, and a cute storyline to teach preschoolers about letters and their sounds.  After only two weeks of watching it, my son was able to make the sounds of each letter in his name, and now can correctly demonstrate the sound of any letter that I ask him.  The entire DVD is so engaging that he'll sit and watch the whole thing without losing interest and beginning a new activity.  I would recommend this DVD to anyone interested in giving their child a head... review »

We found this DVD on Amazon for a good price and decided to get it.  I'm surprised it still works, my kids love to watch it over and over again.  Even my 20 month old loves it and has learned her ABC's from it.  I love how it teaches the sounds in a fun way.  I would definately recommend this product.  It's well worth the money.  I would suggest making an extra copy in case your origional gets scratched!

I bought this video, along with several others by LeapFrog, for my 2.5 year old daughter. She watched it daily and by the end of the week, she knew all of her letters and their sounds. That was 3 months ago, and now she is beginning to put sounds together and sound out words. She is obsessed with letters, and talks about letters and their sounds all day long. Thanks, LeapFrog! I'm guessing she'll be reading within a year.

I am very picky about the vidoes that I let my children watch, but this one is a definite winner! It teaches letter recognition as well as sounds and my kids love it! They are preschool age and they call it their "school movie" because it is reviewing the letters and phonics that I am introducing them to in our little "preschool session" each morning. I love this video! It is a great pick!

This is an awesome set!!  My daughter watched it in the car when we would take trips.  After watching it a few times she began recognizing letters and sounds in other places.  She was only three.  She is now four and can read.  I know that this program helped that.  It is a great DVD.  It is interesting for the kids and perfect for learning.  HIGHLY RECOMENDED.

Leap Frogs Letter Factory is amazing.  My kids have all watched it and all have very much benefited from the DVD.  They quickly learn the jingles that help them understand letter pronunciation while having TONS of fun dancing and aching to learn more.  You'll quickly learn WHY my kids love this movie and ask to watch it ALL the time.

This was great for my daughter who is now reading awesomely at 7 years old.  She has been reading since she was 4 and 1/2.  She would sit and watch the Leap Frog characters and sing along with the songs and sound out the letters with them without even realizing that she was learning.

Hi,

           I have a letter factory dvd from Leap frog . My son loves it and he learns the alphabet sounds in just one week. It is  great dvd for toddlers. They have series of leap frog dvds which is also very useful.
