Leanin' Tree Angel Kisses Greeting Cards Boxed Assortment (AST90712) —

While shopping at the Historic Orchard at Altapass I came across a collection of boxed greeting cards by Leanin' Tree.  This collection wasn't just your typical boxed set.  The box was an elegant portfolio holding 20 greeting cards and 22 parchment style envelopes.  There were several collections to choose from and I settled on the Angel Kisses by Lisa Jane.  I love angels and her photography was amazing.

The portfolio contains the following:

  • 5 Birthday cards
  • 2 Friendship/Loving Thoughts cards
  • 1 Miss You
  • 1 Thank You
  • 1 Get Well
  • 10 Blankcards

Lisa's designs are children dressed up as angels.  I have included some pictures.  The passages on the cards are very inspiring.  Most of the cards have a passage on the outside and 10 have a passage on the inside.

The cards are made on 100% recycled paper.  They are not your flimsy style cards.  They are a thicker paper, even thicker than card stock.  The envelopes are an ivory or taupe color with a slight leaf pattern around the borders.  I purchased the portfolio for $16.95 at the store and when I priced them online they were the same price so there was no markup.

Leanin' Tree has been in business since 1949.   Leanin' Tree has holiday cards, photo cards, personalized cards and other gifts.  It's not just a card shop although that might be all you see when you come across their products in the store.  You can visit them at www.LeaninTree.com or www.LeaninTreeMuseum.com You can also view more of Lisa Jane's work/products at www.lisajane.com  Lisa's website has a beautiful video montage of children in angelic and serene settings.

I say when you care enough send a card the old-fashioned way.  Put a stamp on it and let it travel via snail mail.  What a difference a card makes!

Leanin' Tree is a wonderful card company and since Gigi sent me one of these angel kisses I can honestly say that this is a beautiful collection.

I love a beautiful card! They deserve to be tucked away in a special place. :)
